Kempe Takes From Phua

Nível 1 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Ryan Riess made it 45,000 to go and Paul Phua in the small blind three-bet to 155,000, which Riess called. On a {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Phua made it 125,000 to go and Riess folded.

The very next hand, Rainer Kempe opened to 50,000 and Phua three-bet to 175,000 on the button. Kempe made the call and they checked through the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. Kempe then bet the {6-Hearts} turn for 300,000 to receive a call from Phua and fired a bet of 1,400,000 on the {2-Clubs} river. Phua quickly sent his cards into the muck and Kempe claimed the first major pot of the day.

Ugly River Halts the Action

Nível 1 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Ryan Riess opened to 45,000 in the hijack and Rainer Kempe re-raised to 160,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Riess who made the call. The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} and both players checked to the {9-Spades} on the turn.

Riess led out for 250,000 and Kempe called to see the {10-Spades} on the board. With a four-card straight flush on the board, both players shut down and tapped the table. Riess announced two pair but Kempe turned over {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a turned straight to win the pot.

Nitsche Battles With Vogelsang

Nível 1 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

The action started with a raise to 80,000 by Dominik Nitsche in the cutoff and Christoph Vogelsang on the button made it 225,000 to go. Nitsche came along to see the {j-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, on which he checked. Vogelsang continued for 135,000 and the call of Nitsche followed.

Both opted to check the {q-Hearts} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} river paired the board. Nitsche tossed in a bet of 650,000 and that proved to be enough to force a fold from Vogelsang.

In a three-bet pot, Orpen Kisacikoglu and Alex Foxen went heads-up to a flop of {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Kisacikoglu checked from under the gun and Foxen bet 100,000 into a pot of just over 300,000.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Kisacikoglu checked again. Foxen tossed in another bet of 400,000 and Kisacikoglu quickly mucked his cards.

Mateos Invests Two Time Banks; Wins With Fourth Pair

Nível 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

By the time the river showed {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, there were some 875,000 in the middle and Alex Foxen made it 800,000 to go.

His sole remaining opponent was Adrian Mateos in the cutoff and the Spaniard invested two time banks before tossing in a single T-500,000 chip for the call.

Foxen rolled over the {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of deuces and Mateos had that beat with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours.

Badziakouski Raises Burns Out

Nível 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kahle Burns limped in from the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski raised it up to 100,000 from the big blind. "5x, you're greedy. Just keep going up until I fold," Burns touted before making the call.

The flop fell {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Burns check-called a bet of 65,000 from Badziakouski. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and both players checked to the {q-Clubs} on the river.

Burns led out with a large bet of 400,000 only to have Badziakouski raised to 1,300,000. Burns used up one of his time extensions before sending his cards to the muck.

Tang Bests Nitsche and Lim

Nível 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Danny Tang has scooped two decent pots in a row to take chips off Dominik Nitsche and Chin Wei Lim.

In the first hand, Nitsche raised to 80,000 in the cutoff and Tang flat-called out of the small blind. Tang ended up check-calling three barrels on a {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board with the final bet worth 850,000. Nitsche briefly showed {9-Diamonds}{8-} for nines and treys, which Tang had beat with the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for tens and treys.

Right after, Tang raised the button to 60,000 and Lim three-bet to 250,000, Tang called. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, both players checked and Lim then check-called a bet worth 160,000 after the {a-Diamonds} turn. The {3-Spades} on the river completed the board and Lim checked once more.

Tang now bet 210,000 and Lim called, but mucked when he was shown the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for flopped two pair by Tang.

River Bet Earns Filatov the Pot

Nível 2 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 50,000 in the cutoff and was called by Anatoly Filatov on the button and Rainer Kempe in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the action checked to Filatov who bet 75,000. Kempe quickly folded but Kisacikoglu stuck around to see the {q-Hearts} on the turn.

Kisacikoglu checked again and Filatov fired out another bet of 150,000. Kisacikoglu still called and the {k-Spades} paired the board on the river. Kisacikoglu checked for the third time and Filatov unleashed a third barrel of 400,000. Kisacikoglu finally laid his hand down and Filatov raked in the pot.
