Badziakouski Wins Two Bigger Pots

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 650,000 out of the big blind and Kahle Burns called on the button to see the {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop. Badziakouski continued for 450,000 and Burns came along to see the {a-Diamonds} on the turn, which brought no betting action.

Badziakouski then bet the {q-Diamonds} river for 500,000 and that forced a fold from Burns.

Only a few hands later, Badziakouski and Tony G created a pot of 1.2 million to the {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} river. Badziakouski bet 125,000 out of the small blind and Tony G raised to 600,000. A call by Badziakouski followed and he had the best of it with {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} versus {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Trickett Eliminated by Eibinger

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Matthias Eibinger raised to 135,000 in the hijack and Sam Trickett three-bet the button to 400,000. Eibinger moved all in and Trickett called for exactly 2,200,000.

Sam Trickett: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} gave Eibinger top set while Trickett needed a king or eight to improve to a straight. It was all over for the Brit on the {q-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Diamonds} river became a mere formality.

Nitsche Finds a Double Up

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Dominik Nitsche limped in from early position and Anatoly Filatov raised to 225,000 on his left. Chin Wei Lim was in the big blind having both players covered and shipped all in. Nitsche stuck in the last of his 1,540,000 chips and Filatov tossed his cards.

Dominik Nitsche: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Chin Wei Lim: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Not only did Nitsche have the higher pocket pair, but he also had both of the suits covered. The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Nitsche held on to double up.

Chen Gets Two Streets of Value

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

James Chen raised to 140,000 from under the gun and Orpen Kisacikoglu flat-called on the button. The flop fell {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn.

Chen led out for 225,000 and Kisacikoglu called to see the {6-Spades} on the river. Chen counted out another bet of 675,000 and Kisacikoglu looked him up. Chen showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for two pair and Kisacikoglu conceded the pot.

Dinner Break

Nível 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The players have reached the 60-minute dinner break although it seems the majority of them are heading up to their rooms to get some rest before the rest of the night continues.

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 125,000 and James Chen called, as did Paul Phua in the big blind. On the {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, all three players checked. The {k-Clubs} turn was checked to Chen and he bet 200,000, which only Kisacikoglu called.

After the {q-Clubs} river, both players checked and Kisacikoglu tabled the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, which Chen had beat with the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

In the final hand before the dinner break, Adrian Mateos raised to 110,000 in the cutoff and Phua three-bet to 330,000 on the button. Out of the big blind, Timothy Adams squeezed to 730,000 and Mateos five-bet to 1.4 million. Phua used one time bank and moved all in.

Adams tank-folded and Mateos also sigh-folded.

"I had ace-king, just go for it," Phua said with a big grin on the face while Adams mentioned in table chat he folded pocket queens.

Eibinger Gets Badziakouski To Fold

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Matthias Eibinger
Matthias Eibinger

In the last big pot before the dinner break, Mikita Badziakouski clashed with Matthias Eibinger in a battle cutoff versus small blind.

Eibinger bet the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} turn for 525,000 with the {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a gutshot and Badziakouski called with {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. The {5-Clubs} river paired the board a second time and Eibinger now fired a bet of 930,000, Badziakouski reluctantly folded.

Kempe Hero-Calls Kisacikoglu

Nível 6 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 125,000 in the hijack and Rainer Kempe defended from the big blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Kempe checked to Kisacikoglu who continued for 275,000. Kempe check-raised to 700,000 and Kisacikoglu called.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and both players checked to the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Kempe checked once more and Kisacikoglu put together a bet of 1,200,000. Kempe made a relatively quick call and Kisacikoglu turned over {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a missed flush draw. Kempe looked back at his cards but was unable to beat the ace-high on the table.

Flush Over Flush

Nível 7 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Kahle Burns raised it up to 125,000 on the button and Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 550,000 in the big blind. Burns called and the dealer spread the flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Badziakouski led out for 400,000 and Burns called to see the {4-Clubs} on the turn.

Badziakouski checked this time and Burns splashed in a bet of 600,000. Badziakouski called and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. Badziakouski checked again and Burns shoved all in. Badziakouski instantly called off his stack of 2,250,000 and Burns showed {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush. Badziakouski, however, held {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a higher flush in order to double up.
