Event #3: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed
Dia 1b Começado
The third event of the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe is off to a fantastic start at Europe's biggest poker arena in the King's Casino in Rozvadov, as yesterday's first starting day already surpassed the guaranteed prize pool of €100,000. After 230 entries in total in the first flight, another bumper field is expected and the guarantee may very well be doubled as a result.
Day 1b kicks off at 3 p.m. local time and all players receive 20,000 in chips. A total of 18 levels of 30 minutes each will be played with the late registration open for the first 10 levels, in which unlimited re-entries are available. The paid places of the Day 1b prize pool are expected to be reached in the final three levels of the night.
Dor Tal currently tops the counts after bagging up an impressive 643,000, well ahead of Peter Jaksland (343,000) and Michael Magalashvili (339,000). Among those that already punched their tickets for Day 2 are also Michael Soyza, Romain Lewis, Guillaume Diaz, Dutch Boyd and Chris Ferguson.
Familiar faces from near and far such as Shaun Deeb, Allen Kessler, Anson Tsang, Cord Garcia, Dario Alioto, Jeff Lisandro, Max Pescatori and Sebastian Langrock are all likely going to take at least one more shot at the first Pot-Limit Omaha bracelet of the festival.

Up to 12 tables are open thus far with 55 entries showing a few minutes into Day 1b and many notables are getting involved in the action while most tables are kicking off short-handed. If three or more players are seated, they will get dealt cards.
Florian Sarnow was among those to take a seat on the same table as Madhukar Pandya and won a limped pot when betting the turn for 300. Next up it was Pandya's turn to bet the pot for 1,000 on and that claimed the pot uncontested.
