The first of eight starting days of The COLOSSUS will play until the end of level 18 or until 10 players remain, whichever of the two comes first. Similar to the 2017 edition of this event in Rozvadov and also at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, the money will be reached and there is a separate prize pool for each Day 1 and as of Day 2. The 154 Day 1A entries created a prize pool of €73,881 and the top 24 spots will get paid as follows:

In a raised pot for three times the big blind and several callers, the flop showed and two big stacks collided in Meir Avigal and Daniel Prior. Martin Kabrhel was caught in the crossfire and also ended up all in for a potential triple up.
