Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

John Hesp raised to 375,000 from the cutoff, Antoine Saout called from the small blind, and Dan Ott called from the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and action checked to Hesp, who continued for 400,000. Saout check-raised to 1,300,000, and Ott folded, as did Hesp after some thought. Saout collected the pot.

Preflop War Between Stewart and Sklenicka

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Michael Sklenicka opened to 400,000 in the cutoff, and Scott Stewart made it 1.1 million on the button. After some thinking time, Sklenicka slid in a tower of chips, which turned out to be a four-bet to 2.9 million. Stewart counted out his stack but decided to let this one go.

Dubini Bounces Back

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Robin Hegele was in early position and raised to 400,000. Richard Gryko was in middle position and called, and Richard Dubini took a peak at his hand and then paused a minute before three-betting to 1,500,000. Hegele folded, and Gryko called.

The flop was {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Dubini fired out a bet of 1,200,000, which was enough to make Gryko fold and send the pot to Dubini.

Guay Loses With Jacks

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Pedro Oliveira opened the hijack to 350,000, David Guay called in the small blind, and Damian Salas called in the big blind.

All three of them checked the {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop, and the {A-Hearts} hit the turn. Both blinds checked again, and Oliveira bet 450,000. Guay called, and Salas folded. The {5-Hearts} completed the board, and both players checked.

Guay showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and Oliveira stared for a bit before showing his {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

"Slowroll," muttered Guay.

Oliveira said he couldn't see it right and thought he was shown ace-jack. He apologized, and that was the end of it.

Gryko Gets Three Streets of Value

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Richard Gryko
Richard Gryko

Action folded to Richard Gryko in early position, and he opened the action to 360,000. Joshua Horton defended his big blind.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and Horton check-called Gryko's bet of 475,000. The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, and again, Horton check-called Gryko's bet of 1,350,000. The river was the {2-Clubs}, and Horton checked. Gryko fired a third bullet for 2,150,000. Horton tanked, putting his head down and thinking to himself for a couple of minutes. After he deliberated, he called.

Gryko turned over {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and Horton sent his cards face-down to the muck.

Reard Takes from Turner

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Daniel Turner raised to 350,000, and Alexandre Reard called on the button.

The flop fell {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Turner checked, and Reard checked behind. After the {10-Hearts} turn, Turner bet 450,000, and Reard called before Turner checked the {4-Hearts} river. Reard made it 775,000 to go, and Turner called after one minute of consideration.

Reard turned over {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for a flush with the queen, and Turner mucked.

Jonathan Dwek Eliminated in 38th Place ($176,399)

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Jonathan Dwek
Jonathan Dwek

Christian Pham raised to 425,000 in late position, and Jonathan Dwek announced a raise from the small blind. Dwek did not originally put out enough chips for a re-raise, so he was committed to the minimum of 690,000. Pham called.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Dwek continued for 800,000, and Pham called to see the {2-Diamonds} land on the turn. Dwek bet again for 1,400,000, and Pham once again continued along. The river brought the {4-Diamonds}, and Dwek bet 2,000,000. Pham wasted no time moving all in, and the action was back on Dwek. He thought for a brief time, with around 5,300,000 remaining in his stack, before calling.

Pham tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a straight flush, and Dwek could only muster a straight with {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}. In what turned out to be a huge pot, Pham also took a massive chip lead in the late stages of Day 6.

Ben Lamb raised to 350,000 from the cutoff, and John Hesp called from the button, as did Michael Ruane in the small blind, and Antoine Saout in the big blind.

They checked to the river of the {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} board, where Hesp bet 400,000. Ruane was the lone caller.

Blumstein Pays Off Messina

Nível 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Valentin Messina
Valentin Messina

Valentin Messina limped in from the small blind, and Scott Blumstein checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and Messina checked. Blumstein bet 175,000, and Messina called. After the {Q-Clubs} turn, Messina checked once more, and Blumstein bet 550,000. Messina's check-raise to 1,500,000 was met with another call, and the duo headed to the river. The {6-Hearts} completed the board, and Messina carefully cut out a bet worth 1,600,000. Blumstein gave it a half minute of consideration before calling.

Messina rolled over {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for a set of jacks, and as soon as Blumstein mucked, the Frenchman stood up from his chair and celebrated briefly toward the rail. A French flag is now displayed on said rail, and Messina chipped up nicely.
