Event #69: $1,500 Razz

Dia 1 Começado

Show Us Your Razz Hands; Event #69: $1,500 Razz Starts Today at 3

Rep Porter

Rep Porter won his third WSOP gold bracelet last year in Event #69: $1,500 Razz and with the WSOP entering its home stretch an estimated field of 450 or so players will queue up and try to keep Porter from defending his title. Two of Porter's three bracelets have come in Razz so the field may have their work cut out for them.

The players will start with 7,500 chips and play ten one-hour levels before bagging for Day 2. There will be 15-minute breaks every two levels, and late registration will remain open until the start of level seven (roughly 9:45 pm).

This is the second to last non-Hold'em event of the summer with the $10,000 7-Card Stud Championship starting tomorrow. While the rest of the WSOP is made for No-Limit Hold'em, these next few days will give Stud lovers some fun before the Main Event begins this weekend.

Abrams Drops a Few

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Scott Abrams: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{4-}{10-}{Q-} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{4-}{5-}{8-} / {x-}
Opponent 2: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{7-} - fold

Scott Abrams completed and was three-bet by an opponent. Another player at the table called, as did Abrams.

On fourth street, Abrams checked, then called a bet, while the other player at the table folded. Abrams took the betting lead on fifth and he led out. His opponent called.

On sixth, Abrams slowed down and check-called once more, then on seventh, both players checked.

Abrams' opponent showed {A-}{2-}{K-} for an eighty-five low, and Abrams motioned that it was good. He mucked, and she took down the pot.

Despite dropping that small one, Abrams is still above his starting stack.
