In a five-way limped pot, the flop came {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} and the action was checked to Dan Sindelar in the hijack who was last to act and also checked. The turn was the {q-Hearts} and the action was checked to Sindelar again. He bet 350 and was called by the small blind and another player in middle position.

They traveled from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada to play in various tournaments throughout the WSOP this summer and each looking for their first gold bracelet. They are both regular tournament players at all the major stops in Canada and have accumulated quite the resume.

Keep an eye out for these brothers to make a deep run in this and the remaining tournaments throughout the series.

Sad, Beautiful, Tragic: Artem Babakhanyan Wins Three-Way Pot

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The board read {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and three players got all in.

Sad: One opponent held {a-Clubs}{4-Spades} and needed another club to come.

Beautiful: Artem Babakhanyan had flopped a flush and had two players drawing against him.

Tragic: The third player flopped a set of nines with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and needed the board to pair.

The turn and the river didn't change the outcome and Babakhanyan tripled up with a club flush, dodging the outs of both his opponents.

Ryan Laplante Builds an Early Stack

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Laplante raised to 100 from middle position and was called by three players. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and the small blind led out for 250. Laplante raised to 1,100, his other two opponents folded, and the small blind made the call.

The turn brought the {j-Diamonds} and the action was checked to Laplante who bet 1,625. His opponent check-raised to 3,825 and Laplante called to see the river.

The {9-Clubs} landed on the river and the small blind pushed all in. Laplante called for his remaining 7,400 and tabled the nuts {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a full double-up. Laplante now sits with over three times the starting stack after just the first level.
