Cheryl Denzik was all in yet again, this time up against two opponents. Joseph Cappello and Tom Koral were heads-up for the side pot, and the hands were quickly tabled.
Koral had a pair of nines, which was good for the side pot as Cappello just had a pair of eights. Denzik's board was //. Her buried queens were good for the triple-up.
After being down to just 1,500 chips earlier this level, Denzik is now up to 80,000.
Michael Harris committed his remaining 8,000 on third street and was facing Barry Leventhal. Here were their boards after sixth street:
Harris: /
Leventhal: /
Harris had improved to eights and fours, but Leventhal made a six-high straight on sixth street to put Harris on the ropes. After peeling his seventh-street card, Harris turned over the and was eliminated in 18th place.
Todd Bui completed, and he was called by Tom Koral and Joseph Cappello.
Bui bet on fourth street, Koral folded, and Cappello raised. Bui called. On fifth street, Bui check-called a bet from Cappello. On sixth street, Bui check-called another bet from Cappello. On seventh street, Bui checked, Cappello bet, and after a long pause, Bui raised. Cappello called.
Bui announced, "Aces up," before showing for aces and eights, good for the pot.
Alexander Freund completed, and Ian Johns raised. Andre Akkari made it three bets. Freund folded, and Johns called.
On fourth street, Akkari bet, and Johns called. On fifth street, Akkari bet, and Johns called again. Johns had the betting lead on sixth street, and he check-called a bet from Akkari. On seventh street, Johns checked again, Akkari bet, and Johns called.
Akkari tabled for Broadway, and Johns sent his cards into the muck.
Barry Leventhal completed, Yueqi Zhu raised, and Leventhal called. On fourth street, Zhu bet and Leventhal called. The same pattern continued on fifth, sixth, and seventh streets, with Zhu betting and Leventhal calling.
Zhu tabled for a pair of queens, and that was good for the pot.
Picking up the action on fourth street, Cheryl Denzik bet all the way up until seventh street, and Joseph Cappello called her down. Both players checked on seventh street.
Denzik showed for aces and fours, besting Cappello's for nines up to win the pot.
