Event #5: THE COLOSSUS III - $565 No-Limit Hold'em Gets Underway

It is the tournament that most players from all around the world have been waiting for all year — Event #5: THE COLOSSUS III - $565 No-Limit Hold'em kicks off today!
There will be six starting flights in total and players can look forward to getting paid should they make it to the end of any Day 1 flight. With an $8,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and $1,000,000 guaranteed to the eventual winner, this is sure to be the largest field at the 2017 WSOP this year.
Last summer, Ben Keeline bested a field of 21,613 entries in this event to capture the coveted $1,000,000 first-place prize and WSOP bracelet. Keeline was able to out-grind some of the best players in the world in the five-day tournament.
Players will start with 5,000 chips and blinds will begin at 25/50. Blinds will be increased every 30 minutes and play will conclude at the end of 18 levels. One re-entry per flight will be permitted, and players can also enter any of the subsequent flights if they are not successful making it to Day 2. Cards will be in the air at 10:00 a.m. local time.
