Kuhn Makes the Nuts Against Hunichen

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Rob Kuhn raised to 35,000 from under the gun and Chris Hunichen called from the button.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Kuhn bet 110,000. Hunichen called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Kuhn bet 350,000. Hunichen tanked for about three minutes before he called.

Kuhn tabled {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a king-high straight, Hunichen mucked, and Kuhn won the pot.

"So sick," commented Hunichen after the hand.

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Christopher Staats - 18th Place
Christopher Staats - 18th Place

Chris Staats bet 100,000 from the big blind on a completed board of {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. There was only about 80,000 in the pot, it appeared. James Obst thought a bit and then announced he was all in. Staats only had about 100,000 more, and he put it in there. Obst showed {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a boat on the river, and Staats mucked {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for flopped trips.

Leah Doubles Through Jaffe, Who Doubles Right Back Through Jaka

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mike Leah shoved all in from the cutoff for 145,000. Jonathan Jaffe flicked in a chip to call from the small blind.

Mike Leah: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Jonathan Jaffe: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop pulled Jaffe in front, but a {10-Spades} turn ended that in a hurry by bringing a straight for Leah. The river was a {3-Hearts}.

The very next hand, Jaffe shoved all in for 93,000 on the button and Faraz Jaka put him at risk from the big blind.

Jonathan Jaffe: {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Faraz Jaka: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Jaffe had lives, and the {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop added a gutshot to his hopes. The turn filled with a {7-Diamonds}, sealing the hand early and enabling Jaffe to double almost back to where he was before.

James Obst

Big blind James Obst bet 145,000 on a board of {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Sam Soverel called in the cutoff with 250,000 already in the pot.

On the {k-Diamonds} river, Obst moved all in. Soverel thought for a couple of minutes, got a count of 453,000, and then winged his cards into the muck, asking Obst if he bluffed him. The Aussie stayed silent.
