Chad Holloway has become a household name in the poker world, mainly for his journalistic contributions and live reporting experience. He is currently the Media Director for the Mid-States Poker Tour, but his heart has also been right here with the PokerNews crew.
In addition to writing about poker, Holloway naturally also loves to play the game. He earned himself a WSOP gold bracelet after taking down the $500 No Limit Hold'em - Casino Employees Event in 2013 for a career-best $84.915. His total earnings add up to $148,534, with cashes within the United States as well as London, San Remo and Panama.
Holloway has been off to a positive start here today, and scooped up a small pot early on. He was in the small blind and checked to his opponent in early position on a board reading

After losing a big pot, Ari Engel was down to 3,800 before he got involved in a hand with Salvatore Dicarlo.
