Earlier today, Michael Addamo lost a big flip and was down to a mere 7,000, but that has since changed and the Australian moved back up. Addamo raised from under the gun and the player on the button three-bet to 6,500. Addamo was the only caller and check-called a continuation-bet for 7,000 on the flop.
Both checked the turn before Addamo shoved the river for 29,500. That move got through as his opponent folded. Other notables on that table include Stephen Chidwick, Michael Wang and Moritz Dietrich.
The top 264 spots will receive at least $3,934 and the winner can look forward to a payday of $690,469. Please find below the exact prize pool distribution.
There were three players in the hand with the board reading and the small blind checked. Another opponent bet 2,800 and David Gonia called, along with the small blind. The turn was the and again the small blind checked. Again the opponent in late position bet 8,200 and Gonia called. The small blind called as well and the landed on the river.
The small blind checked for the third time and Gonia was faced with a bet of 27,500 this time. After getting a count, Gonia quickly threw in chips for a call and the small blind folded. Gonia's opponent showed for a missed flush draw and Gonia tabled .
Two further tables broke from the Orange section and those in the search for a new table included Sebastian Pauli, Bartlomiej Machon, Martin Staszko and Ryan Riess. Other notables remain there but the players are dropping out quickly to soon close the entire section at the current pace of eliminations.
Ken Aldridge, Troy Southerland, Saurabh Patel, and Tristan Wade remain in the orange section and share the same table, all well above average. After taking a big hit against Wade, Patel has bounced back and built his stack back to more than he started with.
In one of the recent hands, he defended his big blind to a raise by Wade and check-called a bet on the flop. The turn went check, check, and Patel's bet of 7,000 on the river won the pot uncontested as Wade folded.
After a raise to 2,600, Randal Brooks three-bet to 8,600 from one seat over in the cutoff and a short stack moved all in for 12,600 in the big blind. The initial raiser folded and Brooks quickly called.
Big blind:
Randal Brooks:
The coin flip saw Brooks improve to a set on the flop and the player at risk needed runner runner outs to stay in. The turn was a start, but the river changed nothing anymore. Brooks raked in the pot and faces some stiff competition in 2016 November Niner Vojtech Ruzicka.
