In the first hand of a two-hand exchange, Jason Mercier was the initial raiser and picked up calls by Philip Sternheimer, along with Darren Elias in the small blind and Anthony Zinno in the big blind. Elias and Zinno drew one, Mercier took one, and Sternheimer stood pat.
Elias bet 4,500, and that forced quick folds from Zinno and Mercier. Sternheimer verified the betting amount and called. Elias tabled for a pair of sixes, and Sternheimer won the pot with .
One hand later, Elias raised to 1,500 on the button, and Zinno called in the small blind. Elias drew one, and Zinno drew two and checked. Elias bet 3,800, and that won the pot.
Bob Bright opened the action with a raise to 1,400. One other player called before Majid Yahyaei made it 5,500 from the big blind. Bright called, and the other player folded.
Yahyaei stood pat, while Bright took one. Both players checked. Yahyaei showed for a ten-nine, and that was good enough to take down the pot.
Samuel Touil was the first player that ran out of chips and re-entered, while a four-way hand was going on at his former table. Adam Owen's raise was called by Galen Hall on the button, Alexander Schwartz in the small blind, and Nick Schulman in the big blind. Hall drew two cards, while the other players all drew one.
There was no betting thereafter, and Schwartz announced a pair. Schulman was about to table his cards when Owen announced a ten and showed to scoop the pot.
The draw was already complete as Per Hildebrand took one card, and he bet 2,000. Frank Kassela raised to 6,000 and Hildebrand reraised to 13,000 to get called by Kassela. Hildebrand turned over for the wheel and claimed the pot. "I wish I had put in more preflop, it was just a small raise," Hildebrand added.
One hand later, Kassela opened the action with a raise to 1,200 and Jared Bleznick three-bet to 5,200 in the cutoff. Alan Schein moved all in from the small blind and everyone including Kassela and Bleznick folded.
Mike Wattel went on a slide during the first couple levels, but he has since climbed back to starting stack.
