John Monnette raised to 15,000 from the cutoff, and Mike Watson three-bet to 50,000 on the button. Monnette called, and both players drew one card. Monnette checked, and Watson bet 150,000 with another 160,000 behind. Monnette gave it some consideration and folded.
The next hand, Monnette raised to 15,000, and Dario Sammartino defended his big blind. Again, both players drew one, and Sammartino checked. Monnette bet 21,500, and Sammartino called. Monnette briefly showed his cards, though Sammartino tabled 
as the winning hand to scoop the pot.
