Konnikova was short-stacked long before the bubble and her stack dropped even more today. She eventually ended up all in against two opponents, as they continued playing for a side pot through the board.
Konnikova then showed but her bottom pair wasn't good as Erick Wright turned over for a straight. Wright offered a "good game" and Konnikova thanked him before leaving with a member of the payout crew.
Wright is off to a great start, nearly doubling his stack within the first 15 minutes of today's play.

As we started just in the money after yesterday's bubble, there are many casualties early into Day 2. Short stacks are trying to spin their way up, knowing it's the right time to do so as they don't risk any pay jump at the moment.
