Team Pablo Mariz – David Guay just went up against the chip leaders from the start of the day, John Hulett - Deepinder Singh, in what turned out to be the biggest pot of the tournament thus far.

The team of Ryan Hughes – Benjamin Landowski, with Ryan Hughes currently at the helm, have vaulted to the chip lead.
In a recent hand involving Hughes, the board was and the pot was huge heading to the river. Hughes slung out a big bet of 32,000 and received a call from his opponent. Hughes tabled for a flopped flush and his opponent sent his hand into the muck.
On a board reading , with about 60,000 in the pot already, Mukul Pahuja led out for 26,000 from under the gun.
Ryan Laplante was on the button and immediately counted out chips potentially to match Pahuja's bet. He neatly stacked up the rest of his chips and went into the tank. Laplante was clearly weighing his options, and appeared to be fairly animated as he was making his decision. Eventually, he slid a tower forward into the middle to call.

Laplante and his partner Sam Cohen started the day with just 21,400 chips and they have multiplied that by almost seven times by now. Meanwhile Pahuja started the day with partner Jonas Wexler and has lost almost half of his stack.
Team Matthew Diesch - David Barnett - Eric Polerecky - Louis Diesch got a lucky double-up, and then doubled up another opponent.
First in a hand where Diesch's team was at risk with versus their opponent's , they were able to spike a three on the flop and make quads on the turn, keeping their tournament hopes alive.
In the next hand, an opponent from middle position moved all in for 17,600 and next player to act called. Team Diesch then moved all in over the top for 47,600 and got a fold from the opponent in the middle. Team Diesch held against the all-in player's . The board ran out and their opponent found an ace to double-up. Team Diesch is still alive but barely hanging on.
Andy Bloch, one-third of the team that also includes Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson, moved all in for 11,800 from middle position.
He attracted lots of action, as he got calls from Team Stephen Dees - James Kinney in late position, chip leader John Hulett on the button, and David Guay in the big blind.
