Lewis Shoves the River on Schneider

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Toby Lewis raised to 400,000 from the cutoff before Eric Schneider three-bet to 1,500,000. Lewis called to see the 938 flop.

Schneider led out for 2,000,000 and Lewis called. The turn came the 4 and Schneider checked.

Lewis came out with a bet of 1,600,000 and Schneider slowly counted out the chips to call and slid them into the middle. The Q fell on the river and Schneider checked again.

Lewis then announced he was all in for around 4,000,000 and Schneider didn't take long before folding.

Ryan Tamanini limped in from the small blind and called when Joshua Payne made it 700,000 from the big blind.

Tamanini check-called bets of 525,000 and 1,350,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read Q83K6.

Tamanini checked again, and Payne fired a third barrel of 3,300,000 into the middle. Tamanini was perplexed by the river bet, and briefly left his seat before sitting back. He made the call to set up a 12,000,000 pot late on in the night.

Payne went runner-runner with his K6 to make two pair and Tamanini mucked his hand.

Vampan Leaves Hawkins Short

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Daniel Vampan opened to 400,000 from the cutoff and was called by Maurice Hawkins in the big blind.

Hawkings checked following the 1063 flop and then called a 400,000 continuation from Vampan.

The 2 turn saw Hawkins check for a second time before again calling after Vampan fired a second barrel of 1,200,000.

Once the 9 river completed the board, Hawkins checked one last time. Vampan, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, pushed 3,500,000 into the middle and was snapped off by Hawkins, who announced "two pair." That hand was not good enough to take down the pot as Vampan held 66 for the flopped set to scoop a big one late in the night.

John Racener

Alexander Villa raised it up from the cutoff and John Racener moved all in for just under 5,000,000 from the big blind. Villa quickly called and the cards were on their backs.

John Racener: AxKx
Alexander Villa: 9x9x

It was a coin flip for stacks and the board ran out clean for Villa as his pocket nines held up to defeat Racener. One of the only players remaining with final table experience, Racener was sitting underneath the photo of Jonathan Duhamel, the champion he lost to back in 2010.

Richard Ryder raised to 400,000 from the button with AJ, then called when small blind Daniel Dzian made it 1,300,000 holding 1010.

Ryder hit top pair on the 4A9 and Dzian led out for 700,000. Ryder called and the 2 appeared on the turn.

Dzian slowed down and checked as Ryder fired out 1,100,000. Dzian agonized over the decision for several minutes before giving up his hand.

Van Loo Wins Without Showdown

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Nicholas Gerrity opened to 400,000 from early position before Tim Van Loo three-beet to 1,200,000 in the cutoff. Daniel Vampan then cold four-bet to 3,500,000 out of the big blind, getting a fold from Gerrity but a call from Van Loo.

Vampan checked on the 37J flop and Van Loo led out for 2,100,000. That bet alone was enough to force Vampan out of the hand to keep the young German player chipping up.
