A player just arrived on the table and opened from middle position. Ronald Cleaver and Chance Kornuth called from the blinds and the three of them saw a flop of 526 with 12,000 chips in the middle.

Cleaver checked but Kornuth decided to lead out for 3,000 chips. The player in middle position called and Cleaver got out of the way. The 5 fell on the turn and both players checked.

The Q then completed the board and Kornuth took another stab at it, betting 4,500 this time. A quick call followed from his opponent and Kornuth tabled 95 for turned trips.

"Just trips huh?" the fresh player quipped. "Not a very warm welcome."

Both players checked the 4 turn before the 2 fell on the river. Dwan then led out with 40,000.

His opponent took out his earphones and began wiggling around in his seat as he considered the decision, eventually leaning over the table to get a good look at the board. He called after several minutes and Dwan turned over KK for top set.

"That will do," someone yelled out from the rail as Dwan raked in another big pot.
