Action quickly checked through to bring the 10♦ out on the turn.

The big blind checked again, but Patel decided to toss in a bet of 600. The big blind put in the check-call and the dealer put the 3♦ out on the river.

The big blind checked once more and Patel bet again, this time for 1,100. The big blind tossed his cards into the muck and Patel collected the pot.

The small blind led out with a bet of 500 on the turn and Hachem just called. The river was the 5♦ and the small blind bet another 500. Hachem raised to 3,000 this time and his opponent looked him up. Hachem turned over A♣5♣ for two pair and his opponent conceded the pot.

The flop came 9♣7♦2♠, and the preflop raiser check-called a bet of 500 from Yamagishi.

The 3♥ fell on the turn and once checked to, Yamagishi continued with another bet of 1,200. His opponent surrendered the pot.

"I had that kind of hand," Yamagishi said with a laugh as he pointed at the board and dragged the pot.

Cucchiara Runs Into a Bigger Pair

Frank Cucchiara, who gave away a Main Event seat to one of his social media followers, has himself entered the tournament here on Day 1d, but just dropped a pot to take an early hit.

Cucchiara and Anderson Huang went heads-up to the 6♠Q♥5♣ flop where Cucchiara checked, Huang fired out 2,600, and Cucchiara called.

Both players checked the A♣ turn as the Q♦ fell on the river. Cucchiara checked again.

"Okay," Huang said as he checked behind. Cucchiara turned over 9♣9♠, but Huang had 10♠10♣ for the win.

"That was lucky," Huang said as he dragged in the pot.
