Miles Makes a Tight Check

Jake Miles, Chris Klodnicki, and Michael Carr built a pot of around 10,000 heading to the turn with the board showing 9♠10♦8♦6♥. Klodnicki, in the big blind, bet 7,000 and Miles called in early position.

Carr finished paying for a round of drinks before he also called. The river came the 8♣ and Carr and Klodnicki both checked.

Miles paused for a moment before also checking. "Miss. Big miss," Carr said. Miles turned over 7♣7♦ for a straight and Carr and Klodnicki both mucked.

"That's a tough check," a tablemate told Miles as he took the pot.

Crane Gets Aggressive

Russell Crane was in the cutoff and three-bet to 8,000 before the flop. An opponent under the gun called as they went heads-up to the 9♠6♦2♣ flop.

Crane now fired out another 9,000 and his opponent called to the J♠ turn, where he checked over to Crane again. Crane assembled a bet of 18,000 this time and threw it into the middle, eliciting a quick fold from his opponent as Crane climbed up to 150,000 near the end of the night.

The J♦ fell on the turn and Moc check-folded to another bet of 3,500 from Ohannessian.

Ohannessian proudly turned over his 9♣8♥ for a nine-high bluff as he dragged the pot, and said with a chuckle, "I own his soul!"

A completed board of 7♦5♠2♥J♠K♦ was spread across the felt with a little over 30,000 in the middle. Joseph Ritzie led out with a bet of 16,500 after also leading out on the turn. Brittney Stout was sitting on his left and jammed all in as the bigger of the two stacks.

"Oh god," Ritzie said being put to the test for his last 47,000 chips.

"You can call me Brittney, actually," Stout reminded him but she couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Ritzie went into the tank and tried to get a read on Stout by talking to her. "I don't know what you want me to say. I'm all in, I can't do anything else," Stout continued as she tied her hoodie tight around her face.

Ritzie eventually laid his hand down, noting that he folded seven-five for two pair. Stout also showed her hand with K♥J♥ going face up into the middle of the table.
