Adams Catches Siegel Up to Something

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

From the cutoff Marsha Adams raised to 1,600 and David Siegel put in the three-bet to 4,000. When it folded back to Adams she asked Siegel, "What are you up to? A little somethin' somethin'?" and put in the call.

The two saw a flop of Q4K and Adams checked it to the raiser, with Siegel putting another 4,000 in the middle. Both then checked the 10 turn.

"I always seem to give you chips at the end," Adams lamented, but then asked Siegel what he had remaining. With that information in hand, she led out for 7,700 and Siegel was forced to fold.

Smith Mucks Kings on the Flop

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jamie Smith
Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith raised under the gun to 1,300 and the button called, as well as Katie Swift in the small blind before Alexander Greenblatt three-bet to 6,000 in the big blind. Smith called, and the other two players got out of the way.

The dealer fanned a flop of AQ6, and Greenblatt continued for 6,000. Smith thought about it for about 10 seconds before folding his KK face up. Greenblatt didn't let him know if it was a good fold or not as he pitched his cards into the muck.

Moneymaker Making Moves

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Chris Moneymaker was three ways on a 335 flop and everyone checked.

The player in the big blind checked again on the 6 turn and Moneymaker bet 3,000. The player in the cutoff called and the big blind folded.

The J completed the board and Moneymaker fired again — this time for 8,000. His opponent folded and Moneymaker, who has had a bit of a late-night surge, chipped up to around 160,000.

Klodnicki Picks One Off, Auker Sends One Out

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Five players went to the turn on a board of 62210 when the big blind bet 2,700 and was called by Chris Klodnicki in early position and another opponent in the cutoff.

The river came the Q and action checked around to the cutoff, who bet 4,200. The big blind tanked for about a minute before folding, but Klodnicki quickly confirmed the amount and tossed the chips in the middle.

He showed KQ for two pair on the river and his opponent mucked a ten as Klodnicki took the pot.

The next hand at this table, Ilavenil Arumugam moved all in for around 15,000 and Ken Auker called.

Ilavenil Arumugam: AJ
Ken Auker: QQ

Arumugam stood up from his seat and began calling for an ace, but none arrived on the 82759 board and he was sent to the rail.

Henson Hits the Rail

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a three-way pot, the flop was 4Q9 when the small blind checked to Will Serra who bet 3,200. Ray Henson shoved for his last 11,000 and it folded to Serra who quickly called:

Ray Henson: AQ
Will Serra: KQ

Henson had good hopes for a double up but the rest of the board fell the 10 and the J to give a straight to Serra and eliminate Henson from the tournament.

Agarwal Jams into Thibodeau

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The action was caught on this monster hand as the completed board read 4710JQ with around 47,000 already in the middle.

Jacob Thibodeau then led out for 12,000 and Aditya Agarwal was in the tank for a good bit before he announced he was all in for 41,600 total.

Then it was Thibodeau's turn to go into the tank, for an even longer time than his adversary. After around 3 minutes, he finally tossed his cards face-up into the muck, showing 98 for the nut straight on the turn. Agarwal then revealed the A as he slid his cards to the dealer and collected the large pot. The table then speculated as to what he could have possibly had, with several different theories.
