The players of the $50,000 High Roller stood up for their last 15-minute break of the day. When they'll come back, they will play three more levels before putting their chips in the bags at the end of Level 12.
Brian Rast has been a hot topic all summer as the debate on who deserves to make it into the Hall of Fame this year weighs on many players minds. He only further stamped his name in further history with those debates, as he won the presigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship for a tremendous $ 1,324,747.
Michael Moncek won one of the earliest events this series, beating Fernando Habegger heads up in the $5,000 NLH/PLO mix for a massive $534,499. He's also fresh off a cash in the $25,000 H.O.R.SE. ($52,336).
Shaun Deeb continues to battle in any bracelet event he's able to register as he's still well in contention for Player of the Year. He won his bracelet this series in the $1,500 8-Game Mix for a tidy $198,854.

Everybody folded to Cedric Schwaederle, who moved all in from the small blind with 141,000 chips. Stefan Schillhabel, in the big blind, looked at his cards and snap-called.
Cedric Schwaederle: K♦J♣
Stefan Schillhabel: A♦3♠
Schwaederle needed a figure to stay in the tournament. However, none of the cards on the flop 10♥7♥10♠ helped him, and the turn card (7♦) didn't improve his situation either. Finally, the river card was the Q♦, which wasn't the card Schwaederle wanted. As a result, he has been eliminated.

Bryn Kenney was seen collecting his belongings at the dealer scooped up a paired board. Ramin Hajiyev had gone all-in preflop with the A♣6♣, and Kenney, down to about 80,000, made the call with the K♠J♥. The ace-high of Hajiyev held, and Kenney was quick to leave the tournament area.
The very next hand, Bill Klein and Moshe Refaelowitz were heads-up to a flop of J♠7♠2♠, and when Refaelowitz bet 15,000, Klein was quick to go all in for his remaining 182,000.
Refaelowitz got the count but ultimately pushed his hand in the muck.

Ramin Hajiyev raised from under the gun to 18,000 and Espen Jørstad reraised it to 54,000 from late position. Hajiyev thought shortly before calling.
The flop scrolled across, 7♦Q♦8♣ Hajiyev checked and Jørstad continued for 64,000, receiving a call. The turn brought the A♠ and both players checked, although Jørstad used all the time allotted to him.
The river brought the 9♠ and this time both players checked quickly. Hajiyev showed the 10♠10♦ and Jørstad quickly tabled K♦K♥ to scoop the pot.

Last year, when Joao Vieira won the $50,000 High Roller, he did so by outlasting a field of 107 entries. This year's tournament has already surpassed that total, with 110 players who already entered or reentered the tournament.
As a reminder, late registration will remain open until the start of Day 2.
On a turn reading 6♦3♥4♥3♣, Alex Livingston checked and Santhosh Suvarna placed a bet of 24,000. After some thought Livingston raised it to 80,000 and Suvarna tossed his hand in the muck.
The very next hand, Suvarna raised in middle position and was called by Ren Lin in the big blind.
The flop spread 3♥A♦2♦ and Ren Lin tapped the table. Suvarna then bet out 16,000 and Lin tossed in the call.
The turn was the 9♥ and both players checked, revealing the 4♣. Lin considered a bit before betting out 55,000. Suvarna made a small shrugging gesture and put out the call.
"Ayyeeeyaaaaa...." said Lin once he was called and showed the 7♥2♣ and Suvarna quickly revealed the A♣K♥, making his top pair the best hand against Lin's deuces.
Alex Livingston chirped up, "Ah, yes, a classic confrontation; seven-deuce and ace-king."
