2023 World Series of Poker
The 390 registered players have taken their seats and play has begun!
Nível: 1
Blinds: 100/200
Ante: 200
Players at the 2023 World Series of Poker usually have the opportunity to win a bracelet on Day 3 or Day 4 of an event. Those looking to ascend to the top without having to bag will take their seats today in Event #72: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
This single-day tournament will kick off at 2 p.m. local time. $3,000 from each player's entry fee will be set aside as their bounty, which is the amount that players will earn for each elimination they accrue during the tournament. With this event occuring just two days before the Main Event commences, a large field of big-name players is expected.
Last year's event was won by Nacho Barbero, who topped the 419-player field to take down $587,520 and his first WSOP bracelet. The Argentinian pro also collected 16 bounties, earning him an additional $48,000 from his knockouts alone. Barbero entered an unscheduled Day 2 with a massive advantage in chips, and took home the victory in front of a boisterous rail.
Barbero was joined at the final table by Maria Ho (who finished fifth) and Andrew Lichtenberger (who placed sixth.) Other notable players making the money in last year's event included Jonathan Little (12th), Kenny Hallaert (35th), Phil Ivey (41st), and Chance Kornuth (49th).
