Floor Ruling Slows Down Kronwitter

Nível 23 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Matthew Wantman, Kabeelan Rajamurthy, and Jonas Kronwitter each checked the K102 flop as the 8 fell on the turn.

Kronwitter now led out for 250,000 and Rajamurthy folded, while Wantman called. The river came the 2 and Kronwitter checked.

Wantman fired out 730,000 and Kronwitter asked the dealer how much was in the pot. The dealer replied that they couldn't reveal that information with action pending and Kronwitter then asked for the floor to be called over.

A tournament official then ruled he was allowed to know how much was in the pot with action pending on him, but Kronwitter decided to let his hand go.

"That ruling saved one of us a lot of money. Because I was going to raise the river before that," Kronwitter told Wantman.
