Scott Eskenazi endured a roller-coaster ride after the break, as his chip stack went up and down.

He battled back for a double up early in Level 28 before getting involved in a hand in Level 29 against John Armbrust, who had one of the bigger stacks at the table.

Armbrust raised in early position, and then Eskenazi re-raised out of the small blind. With action back to him, Armburst made the call and both players saw 2♦2♣9♠ hit the board.

Eskenazi bet, and Armbrust called. With 10♠ on the turn. Eskenazi continued an aggressive line by betting, but Armbrust once again called.

The river produced 7♠, prompting Eskenazi to move all in with his remaining chips.

“I got there,” Armbrust said as he tabled A♠6♠ for the nut flush.

Eskenazi tapped the felt and tabled J♠J♥ as he was sent to the rail in 10th place for $8,609.

With the tournament down to nine, the players merged into a single table.

Baker Doubles Twice in Short Order

After the massive four-bet pot against Kerry Welsh, David "ODB" Baker has more than doubled up twice in quick succession.

In one pot, Baker put his chips in before the flop and doubled with the A♣5♣ when ran down Broadway on a run out of 6♥K♦10♠J♣Q♦ versus the K♥Q♠ of Matthew Dames.

A hand or two later holding 8♦8♠, he found a triple up on a board of 10♣3♠5♦9♥8♥ versus the Matthew Dames and Rostyslav Sabishchenko.

Baker led out and Welsh tossed in the call, prompting the dealer to put out the 9♣ on the turn.

Welsh check-called a bet from Baker once again to see the A♦ fall on the river. Welsh and Baker checked through and Kerry turned over the A♠Q♥, having rivered top pair.

Baker showed 10♣10♥ while Dockal turned over the A♥7♦ which wasn't good enough to beat Walsh and with that, Dockal was sent to the rail in 12th place for $6,968.
