Clotar Triples up; Williams Out

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paul Clotar limped from under the gun and the player directly behind him limped as well. David Williams then raised to 4,000 from the small blind and Christopher Gallagher called from the big blind. Clotar and the early-position player called as well.

Williams bet pot for 16,800 on the A910 flop. Gallagher then went all in for more, Clotar went all in for less, and the early-position player went all in for their short stack as well. Williams called all in and hands were revealed.

Paul Clotar: QJJ9
David Williams: AQ32
Christoper Gallagher: AAK8
Early Position Player: KQ109

Gallagher was a favorite with his set of aces, but the 6 turn and K river gave Clotar a flush — sending the main pot Clotar's way and the side pot to Gallagher and sending both Williams and the other player to reenter should they decide.

Fuchs Splits; A Few Chip Count Updates

Nível 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was four ways after a flop of 827 when a player in the big blind checked before Carol Fuchs checked from the next seat over. The player in the next seat over went all in for his small stack and Allan Le called from late position before the big blind folded. Fuchs tossed in the chips to call the shove and action was three ways with Fuchs and Le in a battle for a side pot.

The turn was 3 and Fuchs bet the pot for 35,600. Her pot bet left about 1,800 behind, but it was too much for Le and he got out of the way. Fuchs turned over A642 and her all-in opponent had A622.

The river was a 7 and Fuchs chopped the pot with the low hand.

Le gave up a few chips but he still remains as one of the pacesetters at the top of the leaderboard. Meanwhile, Farha and Dulaney are still keeping pace with one another while Rob Campbell trends upwards at the same table.

Brandt Takes With Turn Bet

Nível 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player in middle position limped in and Angela Jordison called from the button before Lawrence Brandt came along from the small blind. The big blind tapped the table to check her option and action was four ways.

The flop was J104 and Brandt led with a bet of 2,000. The big blind called and middle position came along before Jordison tossed her hand in the muck.

The turn was J and Brandt continued for 10,000. The big blind shuffled her chips for a moment before folding and the player in middle position went into the muck quickly to give the returning champion the pot.

Wang Doubles Through Taylor

Nível 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Michael Wang opened to 2,800 and action folded around to Esther Taylor in the small blind, who three-bet enough to put Wang all in for his last 7,600. Wang called and hands were revealed.

Michael Wang: JJ74
Esther Taylor: AK102

The 4A84Q runout left Wang best with trip fours and he doubled up through Taylor.

Campbell Splits; Dulaney Chipping Up

Nível 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Scott Dulaney
Scott Dulaney

Action was three ways with a full board of 955A3 when Rob Campbell bet 10,000 from the small blind. The big blind went all in with his short stack and action was on Sam Farha. Farha did the mental math before he got out of the way and the cards were turned up. Campbell had K762 for the low and his opponent had AQ66 to take the high end of the pot.

Scott Dulaney is at the same table and he is building a chip stack to counter Farha's table lead. Dulaney is a firefighter from Houston that won Event 31: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack earlier in the 2023 WSOP.
