Lin Putting On A Show

Nível 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Laughing on every hand, Ren Lin is having fun at the table, even if he was down to 190,000 chips in the big blind.

But when David "Bakes" Baker opened in middle position to 55,000, Lin preferred to call. Then, it didn't take him long to go all in for 135,000 chips on the flop 879. Of course, Baker called.

Ren Lin: K7
David "Bakes" Baker: AQ

Lin was lucky enough to hit a seven on the flop, then a K on the turn, and a full house on the river with the K.

Thanks to this hand, he doubled his chips. But he wasn't done yet as he was all in once again a few hands later against Nozomu Shimizu. Action was caught when the two players flipped their cards on the turn on 54QK.

Ren Lin: 54
Nozomu Shimizu: AA

More than just winning the hand, Lin cracked aces with his two pairs after the river card 9. He is back to 460,000 in chips.

Tsokaridis Finds A Double Up

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Under the gun, Paraskevas Tsokaridis raised to 275,000, holding only 20,000 chips in his stack. All players folded to Danny Tang in the small blind, who just called. In the big blind, Yunsheng Sun folded.

On the flop 343, Tang quickly bet 100,000 to force Tsokaridis to go all in. The Greek player looked at the screen to see if there was a pay jump, and then paid.

Paraskevas Tsokaridis: 88
Danny Tang: AJ

Tang still had a few outs that could help him eliminate Tsokaridis. But the two black deuces landed on the turn and the river, and Tsokaridis doubled up.

Ren Lin

Action was picked up on the flop. The board read 942 and players were heads up. Ren Lin had placed a bet of 165,000 and David "Bakes" Baker had moved all in for 580,000, putting Lin on a tough decision.

"No gamble no future!" Lin declared before making the call to put Baker at risk.

David "Bakes" Baker: 1010
Ren Lin: 72

Baker was ahead with his overpair but Lin still had five outs with his seven-deuce. The board ran out 8A and Baker was awarded a full double up.

"I appreciate the gamble" Baker told his opponent as he scooped the pot.

Tang Raises On The Turn

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jordan Spurlin opened from under the gun, and was called by Danny Tang seated on his left, and by Craig McCorkell in the big blind.

There was no more action on the flop 39J, as all three players checked. But on the turn A, Spurlin bet again 100,000. Tang took a long moment, and raised to 280,000. McCorkell quickly folded. Action back to him, Spurlin looked at Tang, and gave his cards back to the dealer.

Sturm Caught with Hand in Cookie Jar

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Leon Sturm opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Naoki Matsumoto clicked it back to 100,000 from the button. Sturm made the call.

The flop came J48 and Sturm check-called a 25,000 continuation bet from Matsumoto. Both players checked the K turn.

On the Q river Sturm fired a 250,000 bet. After about a minute of deliberation Matsumoto made the call.

Sturm tabled A7 for a bluff and Matsumoto showed Q10 for second pair to take the pot down.

Bechahed Ousted by Ferreira

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Sami Bechahed opened to 50,000 from the button and Douglas Ferreira three-bet to 145,000. Bechahed responded by moving all in for 785,000 sending Ferreira deep into the tank.

After about four minutes a player called the clock on Ferreira, who made the call not long after to put Bechahed at risk.

Sami Bechahed: AQ
Douglas Ferreira: AJ

Bechahed was in good shape to double up with a bigger ace. The 988 flop was safe for his ace-queen but the J on the turn left him drawing to three outs. The river came the 6 and Bechahed was sent to the rail early while Ferreira collected a sizable pot.

Saderne Takes The Pay Jump

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jeremy Saderne came back on Day 3 with only 25,000 chips. With this single blind, he could only hope for another player to be out before him. That's what happened, so straight after Sung Joo Hyun's elimination, he went all in from under the gun. Seated on his left, Cody Jones raised, and nobody else called.

Jeremy Saderne: A6
Cody Jones: QQ

"I have a good feeling about the six," said Saderne after the flop 649. But it was a wrong feeling as the 2 and the 7 came on the turn and the river. Even though he was eliminated, Saderne was happy to take the pay jump to $18,898.
