Eddie Blumenthal, Bryn Kenney and Bruno Fitoussi capped the betting on third street, with Fitoussi being all-in at that point. Blumenthal then check-called a bet from Kenney on fourth street before ultimately folding to another one on fifth.

Fitoussi turned over a pair of aces and Kenney had a bunch of draws. Two of them came in on sixth street, when he made a seven-low and a flush. Fitoussi was drawing dead on seventh street and the final cards were dealt ceremoniously before the Frenchman took his retreat in tenth place.

The nine remaining players have now converged on one final table.

Mike Matusow brought in and Bryn Kenney completed. Eddie Blumenthal came along and so did Matusow.

Action checked to Blumenthal on fourth street and he bet. Both players called before the action checked to Blumenthal again on fifth street. He bet once more but this time only Matusow made the call.

Matusow then check-called on sixth street as well before he spent two minutes in the tank on seventh after facing another bet.

"This is the sickest fold of my life," Matusow claimed, ultimately throwing his 4♦3♦ face up in the muck.

Mike Matusow completed and was called by David Rheem. Matusow bet on fourth street and Rheem called. "I'll be sticky, I'll see one."

Matusow then moved all in on fifth street and Rheem called, telling his opponent "you're far ahead."

Matusow showed a pair of nines, but Rheem was able to improve to a better pair on seventh street to mark Matusow's elimination from his second Stud Hi-Lo final table of the 2023 WSOP.

"I was in a pretty good spot," Matusow said. "I'm always in a good spot with my money."

In a heads-up pot, Joao Vieira bet on fourth street and David Rheem called. Vieira bet again on fifth street and Rheem once again called. Vieira bet again after hitting open trips on sixth street and Rheem angrily showed rolled up deuces and tossed them into the muck.

The table was then shocked as Vieira flashed the A♥ to show quad aces.

"That third ace saved you a lot of money," said Bryn Kenney.

"I didn't even like the second one," Rheem replied.

A five-way pot saw Andres Korn bet on fourth street and Ryan Miller and Eddie Blumenthal were the two players to make calls. Korn then bet again on fifth street and received another pair of calls.

On sixth street, Korn checked to Miller who made a bet. Blumenthal assessed the situation before deciding to fold. Korn called and check-called seventh street as well.

"You're safe," Miller said as he turned over 10♠9♥2♠. Korn showed A♥Q♥7♥ for trip queens and the pair chopped up some of Blumenthal's chips.

Right before break, David Rheem completed and called a two-bet from Joao Vieira. Vieira bet on fourth street and Rheem called. Vieira bet again on fifth straight and Rheem raised. Vieira went in the tank behind his hoodie and called.

Vieira check-called on sixth street and again on seventh street as Rheem revealed a straight to win the pot.

"Just aces and kings," Vieira said as he mucked and told Rheem his hand was "a fold to a two-bet."
