Mawick Gets a Fold from Papadopoulos

Kyriados Papadopoulos opened to 3,200 and only got called by Carsten Mawick in the big blind.

The dealer showed a flop 7♥9♦Q♦ and Mawick check-called Papadopoulos for 6,000. The 3♠ turn didn't bring any action.

A 9♠ paired the board on the river and this time Mawick led out for 11,000. With a remaining stack worth 58,000, Papadopoulos went deep into the tank and eventually let it go.

Papazian Doubles His Stack Without Being At Risk

Left with 60,000 chips 20 minutes before the end of Level 9, Alexandru Papazian had 50,000 more chips 10 minutes later.

First, he won a 30,000 pot thanks to a better pair. Then he called from the big blind an open by a player in middle position, which was already called by the cutoff.

On the flop 9♠J♥6♥, the middle position player continued to 3,300, and got called twice. The turn 10♥ didn't change anything, as all three players checked.

This lack of action motivated Papazian to take the lead on the river 2♣, where he bet 25,000. Covered, the player in middle position folded, and the cutoff also mucked his cards.

A player opened to 2,500 and Ana Marquez called next to him, followed by Agharazi Babayev in the big blind.

The flop revealed K♥J♥Q♣ and it checked to the initial raiser who continued for 2,000. Marquez folded but Agharazi raised top 9,000, which was called by his opponent.

The turn fell the A♥ and both checked to see the 9♦ river. Agharazi bet 7,500 and after a minute, his opponent called, showing K♠K♦. It wasn't good enough to win the pot as Agharazi tabled A♦10♥ for the straight.

King On The River For Rosenblum

From under the gun, a player opened to 2,500 and was raised to 6,200 by another player in middle position. In the hijack, Russell Rosenblum decided to four-bet to 22,000. It was too much for the initial raiser, who folded his hand.

But for the middle position player, it wasn't enough as he reraised all in to approximately 40,000 chips. Rosenblum quickly called.
