Peng Shan raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and fellow shorter stack Sam Soverel defended out of the big blind.
They headed to the J♦10♣6♣ flop on which Soverel bet the pot for 1,300,000. Shan moved all-in and Soverel called with the inferior stack.

Shan was narrowly ahead with the top two pair and a gutshot while Soverel and a wrap and flush draw.
"It's a pure flip," Arthur Morris said in table chat as all players were on their feet to witness the showdown.
The 4♥ turn gave Soverel another gutshot on top but he missed all of his plenty outs when the 6♠ river paired the board. Soverel, who had started the day second in chips, has been eliminated in 6th place for $218,297.
