Ka Kwan Lau opened the action with a raise to 250,000 and he was called by Stanislav Halatenko in the small blind, Oswin Ziegelbecker also came along from the big blind as well. The Q♣J♥3♦ flop was checked to Lau who made it 625,000 to go.
Halatenko waved with his hand to see the remaining stack of Lau before he called and Ziegelbecker got out of the way.
The 8♠ fell on the turn and Halatenko bet the pot.
"It is 2.1 million, right?" Lau inquired and counted his stack behind which was fewer than the pot. After a few seconds of consideration, Lau called and the cards were on their backs.
