Schmidt Makes Broadway to Take Out Two

Big O

A player in the big blind was already all in as Erik Schmidt on the button and another opponent in the hijack went heads-up to the flop with already around 25,000 in the middle.

The flop came A♦8♣10♥ and the hijack bet 9,000. Schmidt called as the turn came the J♣, when the hijack moved all in for 2,400. Schmidt called to create a three-way all in.

The big blind had A♣K♣7♣4♣3♦, the hijack A♥Q♣4♥3♣2♦, while Schmidt showed A♠K♠K♥Q♣5♠ for the straight.

The river came the 8♦ and Schmidt got up from his seat to look at his opponents' cards and make sure he won the pot before sending them both to the rail.

Action checked through and both players saw the 5♣ hit the turn. The player in the big blind led into Forrest who quickly called to bring out the 8♣ on the river.

Both players checked through to showdown and Forrest turned over the A♥J♠8♦5♥. The player in the big blind doubled checked his hand before confirming that Forrest's two pair was good and mucked as Forrest collected the pot.

The small blind continued with a bet and got called by Reid to bring the 2♠ out on the turn. Both players checked through and the dealer put the 10♦ out on the river.

The small blind quickly checked before seeing Reid toss out a bet, which was enough for the small blind to release his hand and award the pot to Reid.

The early-position player then bet 5,000 and Hundley called. "You're probably good," Hundley's opponent said as Hundley turned over 2♠2♥ for the full house and his opponent mucked.

"Are you going to let him get away with not showing his cards," a tablemate joked with Hundley as he took the. pot.

Rubinstein showed AxKx with a low while Legendre had A♦3♠4♦ for a full house. The dealer was about to split the pot before it was noticed that Legendre also had a low to scoop.

"I misread that," a tablemate said as Rubinstein threw the chips that he thought were coming back to him across the table to Legendre.
