Liang Finds the Quadruple Up

A player in early position raised to 24,000 and Patrick Liang called off his last 20,000. The button and the big blind both called the original raise and four players took a flop of 10♦K♣J♠ with Liang at risk.

All three active players checked through to the 9♥ turn card which saw all three players check through a second time.

The 8♥ river saw much of the same as all three active players checked through again and Liang quickly tabled the Q♥J♦ for a straight.

None of the other three players could beat it and Liang secured a full quadruple up.

Nikolai Mamut raised to 75,000 from the under-the-gun position with Chad Brewer having jammed all in from the cutoff. It folded back to Mamut as he called putting his tournament life on the line. Both players revealed their holdings.

Tulin Takes From Peters

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot with roughly 60,000 in the middle on a flop showing K♥Q♣6♠. Nikolai Tulin checked from the big blind to Donnie Peters in the hijack who bet out 22,000, which Tulin came along.

The 5♠ hit the turn and both players checked their options to the 6♣ river. Tulin took a moment before tossing out a bet of 85,000 and Peters went in the think tank.

After close to 30 seconds, Peters let his cards go and the pot was sent to Tulin without showdown.

Mohajeri Takes out Castillo

Picking up the action on the turn when the board was 3♣J♥Q♥5♣ and action was checked to Jorge Castillo in the hijack who moved the rest of his chips in for about 102,000. The player in the big blind, Scott Baumstein and the player under the gun, Kianoosh Mohajeri both called.

The two players checked down the river of A♠ and Baumstein tabled Q♣2♠ for middle pair, Castillo showed J♣10♣ for third pair and a missed flush draw and Mohajeri had A♣J♠ for top two pair and the win.

MacDonnell Continues to Fire to Take Down the Pot

Marc MacDonnell raised from the dealer button for 32,000 receiving a call from Boris Shakhmurov in the small blind. Ezequiel Waigel three bet from the big blind to 110,000 as MacDonnell found a call.

The flop came 7♠8♣7♣ as Shakhmurov led out for 90,000. MacDonnell called the bet as both players headed to the turn.

With the turn of the 6♥ Shakhmurov slowed down having checked to MacDonnell. He opted to bet for 108,000 with Shakhmurov making the call.

The river was the 9♥ as Shakhmurov again decided to check. MacDonnell led out for 333,000 with Shakhmurov take his time before folding.

Shylko Gets a Fold From Lazaro With Two Chips Left

The action was picked up in a pot of roughly 250,000 on a flop showing A♠K♣9♦. Rene Lazaro was under the gun and put most of his stack in preflop, but left 2,000 behind to sweat the pay jump. Aliaksandr Shylko in the cutoff didn't realize Lazaro had chips and tabled his hand.

Shylko had A♥K♥ showing and after Lazaro checked, Shylko checked back. The tabled laughed as they knew how strong of a hand Shylko had. The 9♥ hit the turn and Lazaro checked again. Shylko tossed out 2,000 to put Lazaro at risk, who went deep in the tank.

After over a minute, Lazaro mucked his hand and kept 2,000 to see if he could spin it up on another hand. Unfortunately for Lazaro, he couldn't catch fire and was eliminated a couple hands later.
