Lee Sneaks in a River Bet

A player in middle position opened to 3,000. Action folded to the blinds with the small blind and Hongcheong Lee calling in the big blind.

The flop came K♥A♠3♣ and all players checked through to see the 6♦ fall on the turn. All three players checked through one last time and arrived at the 10♣ river card without a single post-flop bet.

That all changed, though, when the small blind checked to Lee who tossed out a single 5,000 chip.

The middle position player folded and the small blind stuck in a call as Lee tabled the K♠10♦ which quickly got his opponent to toss his cards into the muck as the dealer pushed Lee the pot.

It was a classic flip situation, but when the board ran out K♠4♠4♣K♣10♦, it was the tens for Lo that held up to send Mchugh to the reentry desk.

It was a really good time to wake up with aces when the action was raised in early position, three-bet in middle position, Ta-wei Tou four-bet on the button and the small blind five-bet and pushed all of their chips in the middle. All of the initial raisers pushed their chips into the pot and the race was four ways.

Waigel Gets It In Good and Holds

Wysotchanski Pads His Stack

A player in early position raised to 4,500 and was called by Wagner Wysotchanski in middle position and Patrick "pads" Leonard in the big blind.

All three players took a flop of A♦10♥J♦. Leonard checked to the original raiser in early position who decided on a bet worth 6,000. Both Wysotchanski and Leonard put in the call to see the J♠ turn card.

Leonard chose to lead this street and tossed out a bet of 15,000. The early position player folded and Wagner Wysotchanski called and watched as the 2♦ hit the river.

Both players checked and Leonard announced, "You win." as Wysotchanski turned over the K♥K♦, prompting Leonard to look at his cards one last time before he tossed them toward the muck.
