William Benson and Steve Foutty tangled in a pot that was all in preflop.

William Benson: A♦K♣Q♣8♦
Steve Foutty: A♥Q♦10♠6♥

Benson was ahead before the flop, but when the Q♥10♥3x rolled off the deck, the two pair of Foutty took the lead. When the turn peeled the 5♥, it killed enough of Benson's outs for him to say, "You got me..." and he was proven correct when the 4x fell on the river.

The next bust out will bring the field down to the final four tables.

Daniel Negreanu Quietly Having Success in Large Field Events at 2023 WSOP

One year removed from a rough summer, Daniel Negreanu is fighting his way back to within striking distance in the Player of the Year race — sort of — and he's doing so with large field event success.

At the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Poker Hall of Famer lost $1.1 million and was never in contention for Player of the Year. He isn't really in contention yet this year, but he isn't too far off from getting to that point.

Beinner is a Winner

Just a few hands prior Matthew Beinner had cracked aces by catching a straight on the river. This put him in a position to put Frederici at risk when they both got their chips in preflop.

It's tough to be dominated in PLO preflop but that as the case he as Beinner had aces and shared one of Frederici danglers.

The flop came 4♦2♠7♠, giving Frederici some hopewith a pair of fours and a flush draw, but the turn and river bricked with the 10♦ and the Q♥.

Frederici had a good run but was forced to head to payouts.

Teisseire Scoops Three-Way

After some back-and-forth betting, Todd Hatch, Antonin Teisseire, and Aaron Steury got all the chips in preflop, with Steury covering.

Voreland Fires a Second Shot

With a flop of K♣Q♣2♠, Benjamin Voreland had a bet of 40,000 in front of him and it was on Matthew Parry, who eventually made the call.

The 5♥ landed on the turn and Parry checked to Voreland who fired again, this time for 90,000. Parry thought about it for about ten seconds before surrendering the pot.

Good Flop for Choe

David Choe opened under the gun for 50,000 and was then raised to 155,000 by Robert Mizrachi to his left in early position. Choe made the call and the two went heads-up to a flop of 7♠K♦K♣.

Choe checked to Mizrachi who continued for 45,000 which Choe called to see the 4♥ appear on the turn. Another check-call from Choe, this time for 85,000.

When the river came the 7♦ and Choe checked for a third time, Mizrachi decided to pump the brakes and checked back, at which point Choe tabled K♠10♠9♦8♦ for trip kings, ten kicker and Mizrachi promptly folded.
