Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With a flop of KQ2, Benjamin Voreland had a bet of 40,000 in front of him and it was on Matthew Parry, who eventually made the call.

The 5 landed on the turn and Parry checked to Voreland who fired again, this time for 90,000. Parry thought about it for about ten seconds before surrendering the pot.

Todd Hatch: 7644

Teisseire Scoops Three-Way

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After some back-and-forth betting, Todd Hatch, Antonin Teisseire, and Aaron Steury got all the chips in preflop, with Steury covering.

Todd Hatch: QJ102
Antonin Teisseire: AQQ6
Aaron Steury: AKK9

Steury was ahead with his pocket kings, but the board of 74Q97 gave Teisseire a full house with his pocket queens to scoop the pot, eliminating Hatch in the process.

Beinner is a Winner

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Just a few hands prior Matthew Beinner had cracked aces by catching a straight on the river. This put him in a position to put Frederici at risk when they both got their chips in preflop.

Seth Frederici: AKJ4x
Matthew Beinner: AAJ8

It's tough to be dominated in PLO preflop but that as the case he as Beinner had aces and shared one of Frederici danglers.

The flop came 427, giving Frederici some hopewith a pair of fours and a flush draw, but the turn and river bricked with the 10 and the Q.

Frederici had a good run but was forced to head to payouts.

Daniel Negreanu Quietly Having Success in Large Field Events at 2023 WSOP

daniel negreanu 2023 wsop

One year removed from a rough summer, Daniel Negreanu is fighting his way back to within striking distance in the Player of the Year race — sort of — and he's doing so with large field event success.

At the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Poker Hall of Famer lost $1.1 million and was never in contention for Player of the Year. He isn't really in contention yet this year, but he isn't too far off from getting to that point.

Benson Eliminated

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

William Benson and Steve Foutty tangled in a pot that was all in preflop.

William Benson: AKQ8
Steve Foutty: AQ106

Benson was ahead before the flop, but when the Q103x rolled off the deck, the two pair of Foutty took the lead. When the turn peeled the 5, it killed enough of Benson's outs for him to say, "You got me..." and he was proven correct when the 4x fell on the river.

The next bust out will bring the field down to the final four tables.

Coon's Two Pair is Good

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With about 200,000 in the middle, the turn read 982J and Ronald Keijzer checked to Ryan Coon who fired out a bet of 120,000.

Keijzer tanked for about thirty seconds and made the call.

The 3 fell on the river and Keijzer checked once again. Coon thought about it for a moment and checked back while tabling A987 for two pair, which was good enough to drag the pot.

Troha Flops Trips

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matthew Smith raised 60,000 in an early position and Sean Troha defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of K88, and Troha check-called a bet of 50,000.

The J hit the turn, and Troha checked before Smith fired another shell of 125,000. Troha made the call.

When the A completed the board, Troha checked and Smith quickly checked back. Smith showed AKQJ and Troha scooped the pot when he tabled Q852 for trip eights.
