They Attack and he Parry's

On a board reading 9♥J♠Q♣7♣, Matthew Parry checked and faced a bet of 300,000 from Benjamin Voreland. Parry called.

The river brought he 4♦ and Parry checked again. This time Voreland bet to a tune of 900,000. This caused Parry to spend more time on his decision, flashing glances at the young Norwegian to his left. Eventually he made the call and Voreland showed 10♥10♠3♦5♣ which appeared to be a bluff based on the blockers to the straight. Voreland showed Q♠Q♥6♠Xx and won the pot with top set.

Yet another correct river decision pushed Parry further up in the counts, increasing his chip lead.

The river 7♦ saw Slobodskoy lead for 750,000 and Parry called.

"You win," Slobodskoy said as Parry turned over Q♠9♦6♦2♦ for a flush and he added more to his chip lead.

Jason Bullock raised preflop and Matthew Parry made the call in the big blind. Heads up, they saw a flop of 9♥4♠3♠. Bullock was working a short stack and opted to bet the size of the pot for 700,000, leaving himself less than that behind. After some time Parry decided to run the turn and river, raising Bullock for the rest of his chips. He made the call.

Parry had bottom pair, plus an open-ended straight draw and Bullock had a pair of jacks with no redraw. The turn brought the 6♠, making two pair for Parry, and when the 2♠ fell on the river he was left with a straight and the winning hand.

Bullock was cordial with his table mates all tournament and went straight to his rail to let them know how it all went down.

Ryan Coon called in first position which saw Matthew Parry raise to 260,000 and both Ryan Christopherson called in the small blind while Coon called as well.

The flop peeled off A♠7♣6♦ and action checked around to Parry who bet 325,000 and Christopherson potted to 1,980,000. Coon folded after some thought and Parry moved all in for Christopherson's 400,000 more and Christopherson called.

Both players had flopped two pair, with Christopherson's being higher, but the turn 10♠ brought some additional outs to Parry in the form of a gutshot. The river 6♣ filled up Parry who took down a massive pot and Christopherson exited the tournament.
