Eshaan Bhalla raised to 320,000 from first position which saw action fold around to Akash Seth in the big blind who moved all in for 1,800,000 and Bhalla called.
Akash Seth: A♠10♥
Eshaan Bhalla: K♠Q♣
The board ran out 5♣3♣4♠Q♦6♥ and the queen on the turn put Bhalla into the lead and Seth exited the tournament in tenth place.
Noah Schwartz shoved his remaining chips from under the gun and action folded around to Mark Ioli in the big blind who called, putting Schwartz at risk and headed to a runout.
Noah Schwartz: 7♣7♠
Mark Ioli: Q♠Q♥
The board ran out Q♦9♠5♠6♠2♦, leaving Schwartz second best and sending him to that rail in ninth place for $50,948.
Samy Boujmala raised to 400,000 on the button and in the big blind, Julien Sitbon moved all in for 3,560,000 which saw Boujmala ask for a count and he called to put Sitbon at risk.
Julien Sitbon: A♦Q♠
Samy Boujmala: A♣J♣
The board ran out 7♥K♦9♥6♥8♣ and the ace-queen held up for Sitbon to take his table's lead.
Action folded to Chris Hunichen on the button who raised to 400,000. Johann Ibanez three-bet from the small blind to 1,800,000.
Action folded back to Hunichen who thought for about a minute before announcing all in. Ibanez quickly double checked his cards and announced call, officially putting himself at risk and headed to a run out.
Johann Ibanez: Q♥Q♠
Chris Hunichen: A♠4♠
Hunichen was headed to the flop needing help, but the 2♥7♠Q♦ was the opposite. Hunichen, now dead to running spades, started counting up the chips as the 10♥ and 5♣ hit the turn and river.
This pot represented a massive swing as Ibanez rockets up to the top of the chip counts where Hunichen has been all day while Hunichen plummeted toward the bottom of the counts for the first time all day.
Action folded to Chris Hunichen in the small blind who raised to 1,600,000 leaving himself 200,000 behind. Johann Ibanez in the big blind immediately jumped up, announcing all in.
Ibanez acted so quickly and strong because it was clear that Hunichen had committed himself, but this is where the hand gets interesting.
With one player left to bust before the unofficial final table and on a $17,000 pay ladder, Hunichen looked over to the other table to see that Samy Boujmala had raised to 1,200,000 on the button which saw Mark Ioli move all in with the covering stack for Boujmala's final 800,000 more.
With the realization that both tables had ended up in the same scenario, Hunichen and Boujmala at the other table waiting to make a decision now entered into a dead lock waiting game.
After roughly 15 minutes, the floor ruled that if the results of the hand saw two players eliminated, the player with the lesser of the two chip stacks would receive the lower pay.
Boujmala called and the cards were on their backs.
Samy Boujmala: A♦Q♦
Mark Ioli: 10♣10♠
The board ran out Q♠J♥7♦6♠3♥ and the French rail went wild as Boujmala doubled up through Ioli.
Just after that, Hunichen put the rest of his chips in to head to a runout with his tournament life at risk.
Chris Hunichen: A♠9♦
Johann Ibanez: 8♦8♠
The board ran out Q♠A♦8♣7♦6♦ and Hunichen was eliminated in eighth place for $50,948.
Todd Ivens moved all in for 1,975,000 in first position and in late position, Julien Sitbon moved all in from one seat over which saw everyone else fold.
Todd Ivens: A♠10♥
Julien Sitbon: 9♣9♠
The flop and turn came out A♥5♠2♦6♥ which keep Ivens in the lead, but the river 9♦ gave a set of nines to Sitbon and he took down the pot while Ivens exited the tournament.
Samy Boujmala raised to 1,500,000 in the hijack and action folded around to Eshaan Bhalla in the big blind who moved all in for 3,100,000 effective. Boujmala sighed as he put in his final chips and the hands were turned over.
Samy Boujmala: A♦7♦
Eshaan Bhalla: K♣K♠
The board ran out Q♠4♠10♥3♣9♣ and Bhalla screamed "let's go!" while Boujmala shook his tablemate's hands and exited the tournament area with his rail.
Julien Sitbon moved all in for 2,100,000 in the cutoff and action folded to Johann Ibanez in the big blind who peeled his cards one at a time. The first one made him nod and the second one saw him say "wow!" and immediately call.
Julien Sitbon: 3♣3♦
Johann Ibanez: A♠A♥
The board ran out Q♥J♦4♦A♣5♣ and the aces turned into top set and he won the pot while Sitbon exited the tournament area.
Johann Ibanez raised to 850,000 and action folded to Eshaan Bhalla in the big blind who called to see a 10♦4♣2♥ flop.
Bhalla checked to Ibanez who put out a bet of 700,000 and quickly received a call from Bhalla, prompting the dealer to burn and turn the 9♥.
Bhalla checked again and again, Ibanez bet out, this time to the tune of 2,500,000.
Bhalla thought for a moment before announcing a check-raise for the rest of his chips. After getting a count of 8,250,000, Ibanez thought briefly before putting a stack of calling chips in the pot to put Bhalla at risk and send both players to a one card run out.
Eshaan Bhalla: 10♠8♣
Johann Ibanez: Q♦10♥
Bhalla needed help on the river and when the Q♣ river provided none, Ibanez moved into a dominant chip lead with three left as Bhalla was eliminated in fourth place for $171,874.
