Rodrigues Doubles Through Leonard

Patrick Leonard bet from the small blind and Michael Rodrigues made it three bets from the big blind. Leonard made the call and drew two while Rodrigues drew one.

Both players checked after the first draw. Leonard stood pat and Rodrigues drew one.

After the second draw Leonard fired a bet and was called by Rodrigues. Once again Leonard stood pat and Rodrigues drew one.

With no draws remaining Leonard bet and Rodrigues called off for nearly all of his remaining chips.

Leonard showed 9x5x4x3x2x and Rodrigues showed 8x6x4x3x2x to secure the double-up.

Louis Hillman Eliminated in 10th Place ($9,141)

Louis Hillman raised in the small blind with Benny Glaser in the big blind. The four-time bracelet winner asked Hillman to confirm that he had 80,000 remaining in his stack and then made the call.

Each player drew two cards and then checked. On the second draw, Hillman still drew two, while Glaser only needed one.

Hillman checked, and Glaser bet, which was enough to cover Hillman's remaining stack.

"Gotta go," said Hillman, rolling his Mario Kart Luigi figurine forward and placing his last 80,000 chips beside it.

Each player drew one and revealed their holdings.

Benny Glaser: 8x7x5x2x/Xx

Glaser showed his draw first, picking up a three to make an 8x7x5x3x2x.

Hillman would need a five or four to survive yet again, but Hillman's good fortune finally ran out as he peeled a Jx, ending an impressive ladder-up in tenth place.

Kessler Makes "an Advanced Play"

Benny Glaser raised from the small blind and Allen Kessler raised to three bets. Glaser made the call and drew two while Kessler drew one.

Glaser checked after the first draw and Kessler fired a bet. Glaser made it two bets and Kessler raised to three bets, putting himself all in and at risk. Glaser made the call and both players stood pat for the second draw.

Glaser drew one for the final draw and Kessler stood pat.

Kessler revealed nine-eight and Glaser threw his arms up in frustration, presumably after breaking a hand on the third draw that had Kessler beat. Glaser drew a ten for a final hand of 10x7x6x4x3x and Kessler secured a key double up, leaving Glaser as a short stack.

"That was an advanced play" Kessler stated as he scooped the pot.

Monnette Can't Run Down Glaser's Pat

Monnette called and then drew two while Glaser stood pat. He then check-called a bet from Glaser and drew two more, while Glaser remained pat.

After that second draw, Monnette checked again and Glaser kept betting. Monnette called once more and then drew just one, while Glaser patted a final time.

The players then checked, with Monnette declaring "jack," and Glaser fanning 9x7x6x5x4x for the winner.

Hughes checked again and Glaser bet. Hughes then check-raised, which was enough to put Glaser all in once he made the call, which he did.

The players each stood pat with Hughes showing 8x5x4x3x2x for an eight-perfect, while Glaser disappointedly showed 8x7x5x4x2x, which brought his tournament to an end.

The seven remaining players have now been sent to the Horseshoe's secondary feature table to continue playing to a winner.

Damm Draws First Blood at Final Table

James Williams opened from under the gun and Michael Rodrigues called from middle position before Josh Damm made it three bets from the hijack. Both Rodrigues and Williams made the call. Williams drew two, Rodrigues drew one and Damm stood pat.

Williams and Rodrigues checked after the first draw, Damm bet and both opponents called. Damm stood pat again while both of his opponents drew one.

Action repeated itself after the second draw with Williams and Rodrigues both check-calling a bet from Damm. For the final draw Williams and Rodrigues drew one each and Damm once again stood pat.

With no draws left action was checked around to Damm once more and he fired another bet, this time forcing a fold from both of his opponents to take a nice pot without going to showdown.
