Thorpe Snaps a Picture

Nível 17

Pot-Limit Omaha

"Hold on, let me take a picture in case I die," an all-in Mike Thorpe said as he was heads-up against Frank Muir.

Thorpe was all in for around 35,000 on the turn with the board showing 2Q3K and had QQA10 for a Broadway straight. Muir turned over 6457 for a straight draw.

The river came the J and Thorpe doubled up.

"Just a queen would've been good," a tablemate told Thorpe.

"I didn't know that. PLO is my absolute worst game," Thorpe responded.

Bets were in front of Allen Kessler and Thor William Morstoel with a completed board of 648KA.

Kessler was in early position and called a river bet from Morstoel, but he wasn't happy about it.

Morstoel showed AK53 for top two pair and a six-five low.

Kessler bemoaned his bad fortune, showing A2, with his nut low counterfeited on the river by Morstoel, who ended up scooping the pot away from the "Chainsaw"
