Loman Moves In With Aces and Chops

Kyle Loman raised to 180,000 from under the gun and Shaun Deeb called before Daniel Strelitz, in the small blind, potted to 800,000. Loman moved all in for slightly more, Deeb folded, and Strelitz called.

"We both have outs," Strelitz called out to his rail as the board came 9♠8♠3♣. The 8♣ on the turn didn't change anything, and they split the pot once the 8♥ fell on the river.

After the hand, Josh Arieh noticed John Bunch's shirt featuring photos of Allen Kessler's face. "I'll give you $500 for that shirt right now," Arieh yelled out.

"You have to accept that. Play the rest of the night shirtless," Deeb said to Bunch, who declined the offer.

"Shaun, you have to wear the Kessler shirt. $500 to change shirts," Arieh responded.

"This is the favorite shirt that I own," Deeb said about his "Trophy Husband" blue shirt.

Deeb Rebuilds Big Versus Strelitz

As Shaun Deeb and Josh Arieh banter back and forth between the final table and the rail, a hand developed between Deeb and Daniel Strelitz.

Strelitz raised in the hijack and Deeb defended his big blind.

Arieh, the 2023 $10,000 Limit Hold 'em champion chirped, "let me know if you need any pointers," which received no reply from Deeb as he remained focused and then check-raised a bet from Strelitz.

Strelitz called, and then called another bet on the 7♦ turn.

On the J♥ river, Deeb bet again and got one more call from his opponent.

"We won a good one Josh," said Deeb as he turned up his K♣3♥ for trip threes and a good-sized win to put his stack back above five million.

Bets and raises were exchanged until Carrillo was all in for his tournament life, but by seventh street, he remarkably was unable to make a high hand better than ace-high or a qualifying low, while Bunch's pair of sevens held on to score the knockout.

Deeb Wheels His Way to Big Lead

Daniel Strelitz three-bet on the button and Shaun Deeb called as both players took one.

Deeb and Strelitz checked the first draw and took one, then checked again on the second draw. Both took one more on the third draw and Deeb led out with a bet.

Strelitz now came back with a raise and Deeb starred him down for a few moments before tossing in a reraise. Strelitz quickly called.

"Wheel," Deeb announced, turning over 7x5x4x3x2x to take down the massive pot and open a considerable chip lead over the final table.

"We have backdoors," Strelitz suddenly said, but he couldn't connect with the J♠ river and was sent to the rail in fifth place.

Facing that final bet, Dourado went into the tank for over a minute before making the call with just a pair of threes, which was good enough, as Bunch could only show king-high for a failed bluff, picked off by Dourado's incredible call.
