Adrian Troya opened to 325,000 from early position and a player in the hijack three-bet to 1,000,000. It folded over to Jon Pardy on the button who shoved for roughly 1,800,000. The blinds quickly folded and Troya moved all in over the top, covering the player in the hijack, who went deep in the tank. After close to a minute the hijack player folded and the cards were on their backs.

Stroh Jams the Flop

Nível 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action was joined on the J4J flop when Brian Stroh put out a bet of 375,000. Action then folded to his opponent in position who raised to 875,000. Stroh took his time when the action was back on him and eventually let the dealer know he was all in.

His opponent dropped the chips they were holding and went into the tank for over three minutes. This was a crucial part of the tournament and losing a pot this big would have held huge ICM implications. Eventually, Stroh's opponent made the fold.

Stroh snagged a hug pot without having to go to a showdown.

Elsby Scores Chip Lead Pot

Nível 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action was picked up in a pot of almost 2,000,000 on a board showing A923. A player in the big blind checked to Matthew Elsby in the cutoff who bet out 1,500,000. The big blind made the call and the pair saw the 6 river.

Again the big blind tapped the table for a check and Elsby moved all in, covering the roughly 1,400,000 behind for the big blind, who went deep in the tank.

After close to two minutes of thought, the big blind made the call and the cards were shown. Elsby tabled QJ for the turned flush and his opponent opened 99 for a flopped set as he made his way to the exit.

Nível 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action folded around to Rodrigo Gurgel on the button who moved all in for 555,000 and the player in the small blind made the call with a slightly bigger stack.

Rodrigo Gurgel: K7
Opponent: JJ

Gurgel was in need of help, and when the board ran out AQ4QK, it was the miracle king on the river that saved Gurgel to score a full double up.
