Christopher Stephan raised from early position and was three-bet by Jay Kerbel on the button. Stephan called and the two players saw a flop of J♠3♠3♦.

Stephan lead out and then called a raise by Kerbel. The 10♠ hit the turn and this time both players checked.

The dealer peeled the 6♣ on the river and Stephan's bet was called by Kerbel, who mucked after Stephan tabled Q♣9♦6♠5♠ for a flush.

Chait Calls Down Williams

It was heads-up by the river in a hand between Craig Chait and David Williams on a board that read 9♥J♣10♠5♦4♠.

Chait checked to Williams who put out a bet, which Chait was deliberating on whether to call, or not.

"Are you bluffing me?" Chait asked Williams, who declined to answer. Chait put in the call and Williams showed down A♥10♥9♣3♥ for two pair.

"I guess you were being honest," Chait said before mucking.

Liebeskind Scooped Twice to Bust

With one bet each three ways to the 10♠5♦4♥4♠ turn, the action was checked through and the J♦ fell on the river. Ben Lamb bet and Jake Liebeskind called. Lamb tabled his A♠K♠K♦8♠ for kings up and Liebeskind mucked the AxJx7x2x.

Shortly after on a four-way flop of A♦Q♠5♠, it checked to James Chen (US) and he bet for James Obst, George Wolff and Liebeskind to call. After the 5♥ turn, Obst and Liebeskind check-called a bet by Chen once more with the latter being all-in for the last few chips.

That led to the K♣ river on which Obst checked. Chen bet once more and the Aussie reluctantly folded.

Chen tabled his Q♥Q♣J♣9♠ for queens full of fives and the A♥10♥10♠7♥ of Liebeskind was no good as he hit the rail. Moments later, Mike Matusow lost his last few chips to Zachary Freeman and the field was reduced to the last 36 hopefuls with 32 spots paid.

The three players saw a flop of K♠8♣8♦ and Wolff tossed in his one remaining chip. Chen and Lamb both called.

The turn Q♠ checked through and Chen put out a bet on the 9♦ river, prompting Lamb to check his cards one more time before folding.

Day 1 chip leader Connor Drinan was eliminated by Jose Luis Velador before the next all-in showdown unfolded on the same table soon after.

Corey Hochman limped in from the small blind and Yuri Dzivielevski in the big blind raised, Hochman limp-reraised and earned a call from his table neighbour. One bet went in after the Q♦5♥2♥ flop before they got it in after the K♠ turn.

The 8♠ fell on the turn and it checked to Berilgen this time, who bet. Yockey check-raised to force out Daly while Berilgen stuck around. The 7♠ river was checked and Yockey's 10♥9♦X♦8♣ for two pair and Berilgen took the low with the A♣K♦J♣3♦.

James Chen (Taiwan) raised from middle position and was called by James Chen (US) in middle position. Ben Lamb then three-bet from late position and both Chens called.

The flop came 7♦J♣10♣ and Chen (T) lead out. Chen (US) called and Lamb raised. Chen (T) called Lamb's raise and then Chen (US) three-bet, both Lamb and Chen (T) called.

The turn brought the 4♥ and both Chens checked to Lamb, who laughingly said, "what happened?" Before placing a bet. Both Chens called and the dealer put out the 5♠ river.

Again both Chens checked to Lamb who bet. Chen (T) called and Chen (US) folded. Lamb tabled A♣10♥4♣2♥ for two pair and a seventy-five low, which would be good enough to scoop.
