Adrian Mateos opened in middle position, and was called by Ruben Costa, who had position on Mateos.

The dealer placed 4♥4♣5♥ on the board, which both players checked. The turn produced 7♦, drawing checks once again from the two opponents.

But the river brought some action when 10♥ appeared. Mateos checked, only to watch Costa bet 75,000. Mateos took a moment to study the board before making the call, and then finding out Costa held K♥Q♥ for a rivered flush, which prompted Mateos to muck his hand.

Uvaydov Muscles Check-Raise Through To Snare Pot

David Uvaydov was facing a situation after he checked on the river and Qiang Xu bet 125,000 in position on a board showing 9♠Q♥7♣A♦9♦.

No problem, apparently.

Uvaydov then jammed his stack all in, which commanded Xu’s attention. Xu used a few seconds before folding, which saw Uvaydov’s aggressive play pay off.
