There was an open under the gun to 1,300 and action folded to former Main Event Champion, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, in middle position. Raymer took his time and eventually opted to put in the cold three bet to 3,500. The action folded all the way back to the original raiser who made the call.

The 5♦4♥10♣ flop landed and the under the gun player checked. Raymer thought for only a moment before announcing a bet of 3,500. That was all it took and the under the gun player made the fold, giving Raymer some momentum early on.

The board brought some excitement with 6♦3♣K♠Q♠J♥ and Donovan won the hand with a set of jacks and the short stack with cracked aces rapped the table and departed.

Elsewhere Steve Esposito was enthusiastic to give a statement, declaring, "First time here, very excited to be here and this is very well run".

The turn came 6♣ and action was checked to Porto. He bet 10,000 and was called by the button. The river brought the K♠, and Porto moved all in for his last 10,500. His opponent debated for about a minute before making the call.

"Trips," said Porto, turning over 6♠6♦. His opponent showed A♠J♠ as he mucked.
