After a flurry of preflop bets between four players, a middle position player raised for all his chips to 27,000 and in the seat next to him, Tyler Donovan reraised for all of his chips to 29,200, and the player in the cutoff called.

Cutoff: A♦K♣

The board brought some excitement with 6♦3♣K♠Q♠J♥ and Donovan won the hand with a set of jacks and the short stack with cracked aces rapped the table and departed.

Elsewhere Steve Esposito was enthusiastic to give a statement, declaring, "First time here, very excited to be here and this is very well run".

Raymer Bets Big

There was an open under the gun to 1,300 and action folded to former Main Event Champion, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, in middle position. Raymer took his time and eventually opted to put in the cold three bet to 3,500. The action folded all the way back to the original raiser who made the call.

The 5♦4♥10♣ flop landed and the under the gun player checked. Raymer thought for only a moment before announcing a bet of 3,500. That was all it took and the under the gun player made the fold, giving Raymer some momentum early on.

Peters Fires Three Streets

There was a limp from early position when Donnie Peters raised to 1,500. Next to act made the call and action folded all the way back to the limper who also made the call. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The 2♣2♥6♦ landed on the flop and the preflop limper was first to act and opted to lead out for 1,500. Peters took his time and weighed his options before putting in the raise to 4,000. The third player in the hand folded, but the early position player got sticky and made the call.

The 7♠ turn hit the felt and the early position player tapped the table. With action on Peters, he decided to take a catch-all sizing of 6,500. Again, the early position player made the call.

The dealer burned and rivered the 10♥ and early position checked once more. Peters didn't waste much time before sliding out enough chips to put his opponent all in. The player thought it through and jokingly stated "that's just mean," as they begrudgingly folded jacks face up. Peters dragged a nice pot and chipped up in a big way.
