Action folded to Lexy Gavin-Mather who opened to 1300 from middle position. A player in late position made the call and the Big blind defended.
The dealer burned and turned a Q♥Q♦5♠ flop and and action quickly checked through.
The turn 3♦ hit and the player in the blinds opted to lead out for 1,500. Gavin-Mather didn't think long before putting in the chips and the player in late position also made the call.
The river landed a 9♥ and once more the player in the blinds led out, this time for 7,000. Gavin-Mather briefly thought over her options and eventually decided to just smooth call. The player in late position folded and Gavin-Mather quickly tabled K♣Q♠ showing that she made a tricky check on the flop that likely got her some extra value on later streets.
