The action folded around to the cutoff who called 20,000 and was all-in. The button called, Lucas Hillman raised to 85,000 and the button called once again.
When the flop came K♦10♥2♠, Hillman fired out a bet of 100,000 and the player on the button snap-mucked.
Cutoff: A♣4♠
Lucas Hillman: K♠Q♣
Hillman flopped top pair and the all-in player wasn't able to catch an ace as the board completed with the J♠ on the turn and the 6♠ on the river.
The flop, however, made it very interesting when 8♠7♠J♣ hit the board. Zobian seized control with top pair, but Opponent #2 had a gut shot, while Opponent #1 could hit one of the three remaining queens.
The dealer placed A♦ on the turn to give Zobian top two pair, while 6♣ showed up on the river to give Zobian the win.
Zobian’s double knockout boosted his chip stack over the million mark.
Adam Paolini jammed for 130,000 in middle positon, and the action folded around to the big blind who made the call.
Adam Paolini: K♦J♣
Big Blind: K♥10♦
"That's what I like to see," Said Paolini as he saw his opponent's hand.
The dealer fanned a flop of K♣9♠7♥ for both players to flop top pair, but Paolini was ahead with his jack-kicker. The 8♥ hit the turn, giving his opponent an open-ended straight draw. "It's always a sweat," cried Paolini.
The 3♦ river was a brick which meant Paolini could stay at the table as he collected the pot.
As retold by Alex Milgrom, there was a raise and he smooth-called with his pocket kings.
On the 10x7x4x flop, his opponent led out for 25,000 and he raised to 100,000. He opponent reraised all-in for about 700,000 and he called it off.
Opponent: 9x2x
Alex Milgrom: KxKx
Milgrom was way out in front with his pocket kings as his opponent had nine-high no draw, and the board ran out safe as Milgrom collected a pot to put him over 1,300,000 in chips.
