Loving Chips Up Near the Bubble

Nível 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Three ways to the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} turn, Jonathan Woof checked in the small blind. David O'Callaghan then bet 15,000 in the big blind only for Carlos Loving to raise it up to 40,000 on the button. "You guys ..." Woof sighed and called while O'Callaghan folded.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the river and Woof check-folded to a bet worth 65,000.

Cure Doubles in a Flip Against Smidinger

Nível 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Clement Cure
Clement Cure

From under the gun, Clement Cure pushed all-in for the last 42,000 and he found a single customer in Senior's Event gold bracelet winner Eric Smidinger in the hijack.

Clement Cure: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Eric Smidinger: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop instantly improved Cure and he retained the lead thanks to the {8-Clubs} turn as well as the {9-Spades} river.

Nível: 16

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

Ante: 6,000

Hand-for-Hand Mode Enabled

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There was one elimination with multiple other all-in hands but not many of them actually went to showdown, as the dealers were instructed to pause after their current hand was completed.

Daniel Strelitz had tripled his severe short stack with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a full house on a {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} board.

Dominick Sarle then pushed the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} turn for 194,000 against Michael Asti, who tank-folded.

At the same time, Gianluca Speranza jammed a heads-up river of {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} out of the blinds. "Alright, I gonna let this pass and fold the best hand," Abbas Alikhani replied and surrendered with an average stack behind.

The action will now continue with hand-for-hand mode on the bubble, and for each hand two minutes will be taken off the clock.

Kaupp Gives Up Against Cowen

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Robert Cowen started the hand with pretty much exactly what he started with nearly six hours ago and was then involved in a tussle with Benjamin Kaupp. The latter led the {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} turn for 28,000 out of the small blind and Cowen called.

Kaupp then checked the {a-Hearts} on the river and Cowen cut out a bet of what appeared to be 183,000 to force a fold.

Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Daniel Weinman was all in and at risk on the bubble for 305,000 and Carlos Loving was his opponent.

Daniel Weinman: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Carlos Loving: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and the aces held to eliminate Weinman from the tournament and burst the bubble. The remaining 60 players are all guaranteed at least $3,500.

Strelitz Hits One-Outer to Avoid His First Bubble

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

On the stone money bubble, Dan Smith put in a massive raise from the button before Maxx Coleman moved all in from the small blind for around 150,000. Daniel Strelitz moved in behind him from the big blind for around 113,000 and Smith called.

"I've never stone-bubbled a live tournament before," Strelitz said.

"You really want to say that now?!" someone at the table asked.

Daniel Strelitz: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Maxx Coleman: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Dan Smith: {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The flop landed {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to give Coleman a big lead with a set of tens. "Oh my god," Strelitz moaned before the dealer put out the case {q-Clubs} to give him a better set. "Oh my god!" he said again.

The {a-Diamonds} on the river didn't change anything and Strelitz tripled up to avoid bubbling, while Coleman received a small side pot to also stay alive.

Landis Quadruples Up in Spectacular Fashion

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jonathan Landis was all-in for 31,000 and Ryan Messick called. Maxx Coleman then jammed for 90,000 on the button and Daniel Strelitz jammed over the top for 309,000 in the small blind. Messick folded and the cards were flipped over.

Jonathan Landis: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Maxx Coleman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Daniel Strelitz: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

"I think I am behind," Landis joked and then saw the board run out {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to provide an unlikely straight for the quadruple up. "Guess it is better to be lucky than good," Landis concluded.

Bodley Busts Zack and Kincade

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Dan Zack raised to 13,000 and was called by Gary Bodley from one seat over. Christopher Bissinger called on the button as well before Calvin Kincade jammed for the last 59,000 in the big blind. Zack then moved all-in for more, having previously doubled Jessica Richards, and Bodley snap-called.

"Let me get this right, they are all-in?" Bissinger inquired and it was confirmed to him that Bodley had just called. Bissinger folded and the cards were flipped over.

Calvin Kincade: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Dan Zack: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Gary Bodley: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Kincade some hope and that remained to be the case on the {7-Clubs} turn while Zack was drawing dead. However, another blank followed with the {3-Hearts} river and that sent two players to the payout desk.
