Fortunate Double for Levy

Nível 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Tzur Levy
Tzur Levy

Adrian Attenborough raised it up to 600,000 on the button and one of the table short stacks then pushed all in from the small blind. That happened to be Tzur Levy, who piled in the last 5,875,000.

Attenborough asked for an exact count, pondered about it for around 45 seconds, then called.

Tzur Levy: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Adrian Attenborough: {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and {3-Spades} turn were of no help but the {10-Hearts} river improved Levy to tens and fives.

"It's a beautiful game, isn't it," Jonathan Rosa joked.

Salas and Litsou Add to Their Stacks

Nível 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Efthymia Litsou raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Jeffrey Farnes was the only one to make the call from middle position. The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Litsou continued with a bet of 600,000 for Farnes to fold.

Damian Salas raised to 600,000 from the middle position on the next hand and Litsou defended her big blind to see the {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop. They both checked to the {9-Clubs} on the turn. It went check-check again.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board. Litsou bet 300,000 and got called. She showed the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for two pair but Salas held the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the pair of jacks and the pot.

Karim Rebei
Karim Rebei

Aaron Mermelstein opened to 600,000 in the hijack, Karim Rebei three-bet to 1,625,000 on the button, and Brian Kim cold four-bet to 5,250,000 in the small blind. Action folded back to Mermelstein who folded, Rebei then put in a five-bet to 9,250,000, and Kim called.

The dealer spread the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Kim checked, and Rebei bet 6,500,000. Kim went into the tank for five minutes and tried to engage in table chat with his opponent, but ultimately sent his cards into the muck to concede the pot.

"You'll need a PokerGO subscription to see my hand," Rebei remarked to Kim.

Welch Unafraid

Nível 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Robert Welch
Robert Welch

Robert Welch has already put his entire stack on the line several times during the early stages of today's play and has shown no signs of slowing down. Action folded to Welch in the small blind and he limped. Michael Duek checked his option out of the big blind to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

Welch led out for 425,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and Duek made the call.

On the {a-Clubs} turn Welch slowed down, checking to Duek who fired off 800,000. Welch was not going anywhere just yet and called.

The {a-Spades} river double paired the board and, after a moments thought, Welch moved all in. Even before the TV crew could get into place to document the proceedings Duek released his hand to keep Welch, who has enjoyed a productive start to the day, chipping up.

Krentzman Doubles Through Dobric

Nível 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Evan Krentzman
Evan Krentzman

Matija Dobric raised to 600,000 under the gun and was called by Philippe Souki in the small blind and a short-stacked Evan Krentzman in the big blind.

Souki and Krentzman checked the {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Dobric bet 750,000.

Only Krentzman called and the {7-Clubs} fell on the turn. Krentzman then moved all in for his last 2,300,000 and was called by Dobric.

Evan Krentzman: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Matija Dobric: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The turn had given Krentzman what seemed like a world of potential outs to go with his pair of nines, but Dobric held a jack-high straight.

The river however brought the {10-Clubs}, eliciting a fist pump and a loud scream of "yes" from Krentzman, who hit his flush to double up and stay alive in the tournament.
